My son, who is autistic, loves your voice and keeps mimicking what you say. "Some day, but not today" he said several times. He doesn't do that for many people and it helps him learn to talk. It's so sweet. Thank you for your calming videos. You help others in more ways then you know ❤🥰

Unfortunately we are taught from a very early age, especially in America, that to have a fulfilled, successful, enjoyable long life, we must fill it with stuff.

I've been living in my van for 2 months, and my mindset is that of yours today. I totally agree with you ! I'm almost 62. I suppose there's no age limit, it's when the time is right for each individual. You're so wise already at your young age. Thanks for sharing your valuable experience. Love stay with you 🙌💛🙌

I love this video. It speaks such simplicity and peace and joy. You've also given me motivation to remove what is no longer necessary or useful in my space. I wish I had the fortitude to follow my heart at your age. I'm now 33 and wish to have a life with more freedom. I spend the majority of my days at work in a stuffy office without windows. It's horrifically depressing--but I have student debt and medical debt, so I'm a bit stuck. I do dream of getting a van and setting off. Adventuring into the wilds. For now, I live vicariously through your videos and the videos of other van-lifers. Stay safe, stay Happy!

Try reading or listening to The Minimalists. I began this journey about 6 months ago and I love it! I have more money in the bank, no debt, a few clothes for each season that I dramatically got rid of and I love to see all the space. Less to clean. Less to dust. Less to stress, it is a beautiful life!

This video was a divine parable... We will never get what is coming into our life till we shed somethings to make room... A full cup cannot take on any more water 🙏🤲🌅♾️

The joy i feel in my van is that I am not surrounded by stuff. I am happy and content with the necessities. I feel free, happy, and content. When I go back to my house I feel overwhelmed with everything I have collected in my life. Why do I have three sewing machines, three bathrooms, 3 sets of dishes and on top of that fancy China I have used once in 40 odd years? Enjoy your carefree time while you are young. I am only now realizing that my stuff isn’t what I needed.

Brilliant episode. It's good to get rid of excess baggage, materially and psychologically. I used to have entire library (one wall), but now I'm in a van I cycle through four books, tops.

U R looking great today. It is amazing to clean and always find more space ... U R Amazing person!

Yes Anna like you I did an inventory of what I owned, used and never use in life and know what now I have cupboards that lie empty, wardrobes I have no use for - so dismantled back down to flat packs. And to me Life feels much less cluttered - still to do my DVD and CD collections but like you say that is for another day. Oh and incidentally I'm in Scotland where already Snow has fallen on the upper peaks.

I liked how you went through your belongings, I do it every few weeks. And down size. Less junk more jounery.haha

Wonderful video. I really need to reduce my clothes too. I've been carrying jerseys and Hawaiian shirts that I never wear in this lifestyle. Love your smile and laughter!

Road Life is all about what is important. Just got done with 5 months solid camping. Now doing a work gig for a few months. I took early retirement and left it all. But we can still work and do stuff. Make money for vehicle repairs is a top one.

So funny, my son is 15 and wants to go to FIT and live in new York. I am much older and I do tell him that its a long life. I will tell you the same thing. And. I think I will go through my closet today. My wife will thank you. Time to remove a few things.

I clean out the van of stuff about this time every year. Stuff I'm considering dumping goes into sealed boxes, then into the storage unit. Next year, all unopened boxes go to the landfill. No opening, no peeking. Just gone.

The problem with this idea of parallel universes and infinite Anna's making different choices and living different lives is that it's an entirely human centered view of the universe.

Fantastic vid as always. BUT I need to know about your boots lol. They are awesome, and seem to be really holding up! I assume for that reason they're maybe pricier than, say, Rocket Dogs, which are cute AF but I have to treat as disposable every year.

Haha! I absolutely LOVE my boots! I’ve had them for nearly a decade now! They’ve been to a shoe cobbler maybe 3-4 times already now. I wear them everywhere until the sole runs out and get them repaired the old fashioned way! 😂💛

I did pottery for years, it's so fun! Haven't been able to do it for a couple years due to circumstances, and I miss it and the people I met doing it. Looks like you're picking up centering faster than I did! Show us some of your pieces when you finish firing them. Also if you get the chance to do raku pottery give it a try, it's awesome
