Hats off to the professionals who can install PPF. Awesome job. I struggle to install a screen protector on my iPhone without messing up.

Small trick for screen protectors. You can make your very own "slip solution" using a small amount of isopropyl alcohol. It will loosen the glue without compromising it once it evaporates. Just try not to use more than a few drops as it will loosen the glue holding your screen onto your phone if you're not careful. I was really into LEGOs as a kid and I used it to line up the stickers but it works just as well on screen protectors.

@@yelruta Alcohol is actually what you use as the Tack solution to activate the adhesive. You want soapy water as a slip solution. I do PPF/Tint for work.
Really good to see a non professional like Tim have a go. It really difficult and more and more respected to the boys and girls doing this for work.
I'm a subscriber to Tim’s channels and often thought how professional he is, how elegant, erudite and professional he is. But, to take over somebody else's channel, and still have the same level of professionalism as his channel is excellent. I've often wondered how he'd do on live TV. He has the knowledge and presence to be able to do it. Imagine Tim on a re-re-boot of Top Gear as the average man on the street typ. I know he isn't, but you get what I mean.

Its like the Bugatti, has R8 steering wheel. They look good though.
I wast sure about the Zenvo at all when Tim first said he was getting one could think of loads of other cars i would rather pick ! But the more i see it and Tim shows us i cant wait until it comes to the channel what a machine! might not have an established name but WOW!! What a thing! Has definitely made my top 10 car list now!! Amazing!! Love it!! Thanks for the upload and congrats on the Zenvo Tim👍👍

I admire Tim for having a go but I do agree with him pay a professional to do the job such as yourselves especially with a car costing that much money.

Interesting vid, Shmee, and illustrating the value of the profession nature of the installation is paramount. The materials are relative the least expensive part of this process. The template and technician's application are the most important.
Tim has the technical ability of a small mouse really. Wonderful to watch!

That's the main reason I don't don't tint widows. I know with PPF that is the ultimate protection for high end cars, but anything else, I'm Ceramic coating.
Tim we still love you, even if you can't install PPF. lmao

yeah PPF aint no joke ahahaha. My first week of doing PPF i tossed probably half a roll in mistakes. Part of the business tho.

I know I wouldn't want to do that job because it would take a lot of practice to make something look that good on such a fabulous car. What was the red car that was beside yours it looks sweet

Just wondering when they put the slip solution on the body directly and use that black squeegee, doesn't it leave any tiny scratch marks? What material is the black squeegee made off? Rubber? Silicon?

They’re made of rubber. We spray fix on the top of the film to stop marks. The film is also self healing. If it were ever to be damaged in installation we would replace it
