I do antisune cases like sune cases, just with my left hand. it feels better than your algorithm, since I'm left handed. But hey, great explanation! I'm sure to use this tutorial to memorize.

I just want to say i never thought I'd get under 1 minute with beginner F2L and I did, then I thought I could never memorize all the 2 look oll and pll algs and here I am, 2 days into it with all but the last 4 algs for the edges memorized. You're the best Cubehead

Thx after using the beginner method to solve the last layer and having a mix of cfop and beginners method i can now finally switch to full cfop

In cross 1 (3:37), there is actually a really simple algorithm, that is you have to face one of the two sides (where 2 yellow stickers are placed) and do F (R U R' U')3 F'. It's simple to remember and handy.

there are more algs that do the job but I made sure to use algs that you won’t have to relearn, they’re really good and fast :) also easy to recognize, I think I’m the only person that teaches beginners the uperms from the back, but they’re just much easier to recognise from that angle

for beginners learning 2L OLL... for cross 1 case, I always found it easier to orient the headlights towards me and away from me and then do F (sexy move 3 times) F'... for a beginner it's way easier to memorize and faster for them to execute.

A tip: you could make a cross and then if you get a sune with a yellow corner on the bottom right or a cross with yellow corner pieces as left and right headlights, just do the sune alg and then you’ll get a sune or anti-sune, so do the alg for which ever and OLL is done!

instead of doing the wide F why don't I just orient the hook to be facing top left side and then just do the normal "sexy" alg feels more natural and less clunky does this have a benefit that I am unaware of @CubeHead

The way I am learning it slightly different. For instance when I have the two headlights opposite from each other I put them vertically, one pair facing me and the other facing away, then I do F then sexy move three times then F prime.

5/7 when doing these algorithms, I had to do J perm for PLL after lol.

For the cross case at 3:37 it is so much easier to do F (Sexy x3) F' with the headlights facing towards you.

My beginner's method best time is 45 seconds. I'm now learning cfop to be even faster. It currently takes me around 1 minute and 30 seconds to complete the oll step. pRoGrEsSiOn
