Coming Clean Finally, I confessed all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide my guilt. I said to myself, “I will confess my rebellion to the LORD.” And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone. (Psalm 32:5) Years ago, a talk show segment featured the story of a little dog named Mugsy who had been hit by a car and was presumed dead by his owners. His grieving family buried him in a corner of their yard. But the next morning at 5:30, there was scratching at their back door. Much to the family’s surprise, it was their beloved Mugsy. Apparently, he wasn’t dead after all. The persistent pup dug himself out of his grave. That is what unconfessed sin is like. We may think we’ve buried it, but it will be back. There is only one way to get rid of our sin, and it’s at the cross of Jesus Christ. We can’t cover it. We can’t hide it. And we can’t run from it. It will stay with us until we confess it. After his sin of adultery and murder, David eventually admitted to God that he had sinned. Later he wrote about it in Psalm 32: “When I refused to confess my sin, my body wasted away, and I groaned all day long” (verse 3) David continued, “Finally, I confessed all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide my guilt. I said to myself, ‘I will confess my rebellion to the Lord.’ And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone” (verse 5) He didn’t try to blame someone else for his sin. He didn’t try to hide it at this point. Rather, David called it what it was, and he dealt with it in a straightforward way. We always want to blame others for our sin and say that it isn’t our fault. Do you need to own up to something you’ve done? Or, are you playing the blame game? There must come a point in your life when you say, “I’ve sinned. I’ve committed this iniquity. The problem is me.” And that is when things will change for you.

@@StrawHat83 I actually have a genetic metabolic condition. I only eat extremely low protein foods daily my protein intake from food is about 8g. I watched this as I often help people with creating balanced diets. Due to my knowledge of having to know amino acid breakdowns of foods. My problem is not that it is lower than stated. I just don't want people to think they are getting a high protein pre/post work out snack. When it is around a quarter of that amount.

Hey guys! I’ve been experimenting. First of all, can pumpkin will work if combined with apple sauce (don’t worry. Still tastes like pumpkin). I used 2 cups apple sauce, 1/2 cup pumpkin and 3 packets gelatin. (Tried with less applesauce and it wouldn’t froth up). Season like a pumpkin pie! Delicious. Second, I’ve done half applesauce with half blueberry or strawberry or banana. All rose perfectly.( I imagine u could even just use the fruit puréed without the apple as well but haven’t tried yet). The blueberry with a little lemon juice was my favorite! All very nice tho. Next up I will try half greek yogurt half apple sauce (with sweetener and vanilla probably) or half greek, half banana. Curious how the consistency will turn out.

Beware! This video contains misinformation and is super misleading. Sorry to be harsh, but the nutritional facts for this recipe are wrong. 100g of applesauce has 65-75 calories and 0,2g protein. 100g of gelatin has 60-65 calories and 1,2g protein. 360g applesauce = 252 calories and 0,7g protein. 14g gelatin= 8,5 calories and 0,17 g protein. The total nutritional value for this recipe is: 260 calories 61,2 gram carbs 54 gram sugar (included in carbs) 0.9 gram protein 0,7 gram fat. How someone can come to the conclusion that this can be high-protein is wild to me. This is just mainly fruit, which is low in protein, high in sugar.

I made this recipe using the following: 339 grams applesauce = 135 kcal (Mott's brand) 14 grams gelatin = 20 kcal (Knox brand, 5 kcal per 1/4 serving, I used 2 servings) Totaling 155 kcal. I think this recipe varies depending on what brand of gelatin/applesauce you use. You're right about the low protein amount, but I'm very happy with the calorie content. I also added a small amount of sugar, maple syrup, and berries on top (added ~35 kcal) to boost the flavor.

Applesauce is really nice in old fashioned overnight oats. Use about 50-50 applesauce and Greek yogurt, stir it into your dry whole rolled oats. You can add dried cranberries, raisins, cinnamon, banana chips, vanilla, peanut butter, honey, seeds, nuts, any and all in different combinations to make it your taste. Cover and refrigerate. The yogurt makes this extremely long lasting in the fridge. Makes a great breakfast or snack, hot or cold. It tastes....like cookie dough. Not extremely low calorie like your cake here but it's nutrient dense calories and filling, cheap and easy. If you wanted to make this more dessert like shape into bars or truffles, drizzle with caramel, and dip them in chocolate. I have also used unflavored gelatin to make jello out of caffeine drink mixes and or sugar free Gatorade. It's a perfect summer treat. More gelatin...more rubbery. It depends if you want it more like finger jello or eat with a spoon (and how much protein do you want per serving? This is a fun way to get your electrolytes, a little energy, and extra protein. You might also be able to add your supplement powder like all that shit people put in smoothies?

@@longlongshadows392 you can have fun with that idea and I hope it does bring back memories of Granny...so sorry for your loss! You do want to bloom your gelatin with cold liquid so use a robust cold brew. Blooming is when you saturate the gelatin first...stir it in and it will look like...couscous or mashed potatoes maybe? Bumpy, semi translucent. THEN add hot coffee to dissolve the gelatin until it disappears and the mixture looks like plain coffee. Pour into your mold. If you wanna do sumpin fancy! Use a pretty Bundt pan or decorative silicone mold and add some layers. Make a small batch plain and pour it in the pan or dishes to set. When it's stable enough, make a batch of flavored creamer coffee jello and pour on top. Repeat for as many layers as you want and top with whipped cream and a dusting of cocoa powder or cinnamon. Wiggly Jiggly Starbucks dupe!

@@sarahbartlett9870 In my recipe I used 250g of jam (strawberry, berry mix, apricot ... made with pectin and erythritol), 5g vanilla paste, liquid sweetener to taste (it needs extra sweetener because with that much volume the "marshmallow" might taste bland) and 20g powdered gelatine. Put everything in a pot and heat it on low-medium heat until the gelatine is just molten. Don't let it get too hot. Doesn't take much heat to melt gelatine. Put everything in a bowl and mix for 10 minutes (more or less) until triple the volume and it is thick and fluffy. Transfer to a bowl lined with plastic wrap and chil for a few hours or until set. That method worked for me with apple sauce and different sugar free jams.

This recipe looks sooooo good. Do you think we can add lemon juice and-of lemon zest to this recipe? Would it change the macros?

I made that Boston creme doughnut. It wasn't very thick but the cream and chocolate frosting made it something to remember

Was it spread it too thin? Maybe gotta make a smaller thicker donut?

I tried this recipe and I really like it! I like apple sauce because it reminds me my youth! The consistency was yummy!

Wow. A no bake cake. I wonder if you can do this with agur agur powder instead of gelatin. I know it wouldn't have the protein but it would still make a low fat cake for plant based people if it worked! This is so awesome

I love applesauce. You can eat it plain as a healthy dessert or cook with it. It can even replace oil when baking as a healthy alternative.

Great stuff Rahul !!.....could you add a scoop of protein into the mix or would that ruin the consistency ?

I think you could! Or mix protein and water into a thick sludge and use it as frosting

I wonder if you could mix in bits of apple, or lemon juice. Or use raspberry sauce (puree) instead of the apple sauce... There's just so much variations you could do, Imma definitely gonna try this and experiment with it, it has So much potentional to be an easy multivariable recipe.
