1:40:06 in regards to the ! Floating out of nowhere, it could simply be a reference to how some games back in the older days handled errors (games like Doom, or SRB2) where a ! Will occupy the space of an invalid or missing object, yoshis wolly world did this too with test cubes, theres also the chance that fallout is doing the same thing and is in fact not a reference Basically its an error handler to prevent crashing

Idk if someone commented on the pikmin japanese meanings but the big text reads: "There is nothing" while the top texts could read "Ground (dirt/soil), healing(?), grass, tree, swamp/mire, water, and hole

In regards to the Mario 128 becoming Pikmin thing: That's technically true. Mario 128's ability to render hundreds of models on screen at once was used in Pikmin. However, it's only half the story. The traversal that was in the game actually splintered off to Super Mario Galaxy of all things. So, in essence, Mario 128 became two projects instead of just one
