The "secret" ASCII art in Mario teaches typing is actually part of the printable certificate of completion. It prints out an ASCII art Mario along with the player's name and level completed. I'm afraid it is neither hidden or unused.

@@Realchildeater As I recall you spent most of the game helping these two childhood friends save their town, but one had always wanted to explore while the other wanted to stay in the village, and after saving the town at the end the boy decided to try going on an adventure and getting on a ship that was leaving The impactful part was this was one of the first DS games I played and I didn't expect a full-on three minute song to play over the visuals of the two childhood friends separating. It was actually a pretty emotionally devastating song for those visuals at that age, but also because it used the title screen as a leitmotif, and this was before I even knew what those were, lol. I'd recommend looking it up, but it's probably not as impactful if you haven't played it (and aren't a tween)

It seems like the "to sleep to" part is more of an inside joke with the community. These videos were made before without that title and many of their views came from people who were asleep. Sorry but I don't think that sleeping is actually what they have in mind when making these
