Probably just a text to speech app like virtually all of the woods horror story channels. The word "preface" was pronounced as "pre face" in one story for example, which is precisely the sort of glitch you hear with TTS apps.

@b.g.5869 ooh, yeah, I've heard a few channels that definitely are AI, for sure, but I don't think booze is one of them. There are others that aren't. Unless you think they all are.... But I've heard a couple that are obvious and annoyingly so ai. Bleh.... But yeah, Booze pronounces height as "heigth", which is a very common human error. Computer isn't gonna make that mistake. I even heard him say "ecscape". Either he says these words naturally, and humanly, incorrectly...or... he correctly pronounces the typos of the Reddit stories he's reading, because you never know if the person means the typos and you should just read it as they post the story. Sometimes he even stumbles an trips over his words. I think there was an episode where he was sick and stuffy and sounded awful....but, no, you're right. Never met the guy, he's probably a robit 🤖

My dad used to weld on the slope. The month before he started a grizzly bear ran through their barracks, he found his way into the building but didnt know how to get out. Then a few months after he left, he worked there for a few years, the guy he would share a work tent with got drug out of the canvas tent by the ankle by a polar bear. Polar bear was put down and his coworker was airlifted for some gashes and missing the back half of an ankle. I agree I'm the skeptic who tries to find the "slip-up" in these true stories, lol. But, in defense of that example, I didn't notice it being horribly off since he drove for what he claimed seemed like an hour, it gets more remote, then they see the double-trailer-turned-redneck-gas station, then go down a road and get to the campfire. Maybe because I live in a place like what he described, and know how outsiders feel about how isolated it is --- its weird. But if you were scared, because it seemed you fell for a ruse and were close to getting robbed by a huge group, it would give you an adrenaline rush. Likely, you'd run until you saw lights. He said the trailer store had bright neons, and might be a beacon in the dark when you run scared for a mile or two...??? The cab would be insanely pricey, haha, if it really was an actual hour back to campus --- odds are, whether these stories are true, (I doubt it) they may come from a kernel of truth. Something less dramatic actually happened to them. Or a friend's epic anecdote that made it 3 or 4 levels deep in the telephone game, and gets more salacious with each re-telling. Normally I can't *stand* these channels, but I like this guy. He is pretty selective compared to the some of the utter trash I hear read on other "VERIFIED TRUE TERRIFYING STORIES TO GIVE YOU A YEAR OF NIGHTMARES" type creators, lolol.

The story about the Boy Scouts encountering a big doot while camping in the Boundary Waters off of Moose Lake in Northeastern Minnesota got my attention really quick as I live about 15 minutes from there and I have been to the Charles L. Somers Northern Tier Boy Scout Base on Moose Lake many times. I have had my own encounters with the big guy myself and can assure you that to have any spooky encounter or bad situation in the area where the writer of the story was at is about the most unnerving feeling that you can experience as you can be out in the Boundary Waters for DAYS and never encounter any other people. Personally I don't recommend going into the wilderness up here unless you are armed with a high powered handgun (not a wimpy 9mm) as bear are common and cougar are also occasionally in the area, and of course there are the occasional big foot and you don't want to have an encounter with any of them unarmed or armed with something that is underpowered. Over the last 20 years there have been several people up here doing research on bigfoot and there have been reports of Bigfoots being sighted just outside of town. The woods here are so thick in spots that you can be within 10 feet of something and not even know it, but this is also some of the most beautiful wilderness there is in the entire country.

Yeah, seems safer, cleaner safety from a distance. If it's an animal, they aren't necessarily afraid of a shiny piece of steel, and if it's a crazy human, they'll likely back down from a gun. But weilding a knife at a pyscho, is almost more of a challenge. And how about the ease with which a crazy, harmful individual may get the knife from you, then use it against you. I would carry a knife because I don't have a gun, but I'm not usually in the deep woods alone.

@@nbsoboleski From personal experience, a small knife is easier to carry around and much easier to swing in case of danger. Although it's also much safer and also more dangerous carrying firepower with you, when the danger is another human, they can sometimes use it against you, if you're not fast enough. Overall, any weapon you carry can keep you safe, but can also get you in trouble, which is sad, because that means no one is ever really completely safe 😕 Have a good day 😊

I’m from anchorage Alaska and my dad works on the slope. He has a scary story too. His coworker/friend was working on a pipe that was frozen and it broke open and hit him in the head causing his brains to to everywhere and my dad was a fire fighter at the time so he was the first on the scene to see his friend, it broke his heart seeing his friends brains everywhere. He’s now a turbine engineer on the slope instead of a fire fighter.

@stevengoracke7644 hahahaha!! Yeah, honestly, I don't believe in cryptids at all, but I allow for the rare but real possibility of a mutant, like an unseen freak of nature. But for me, it's the crazy ppl in small towns, in the woods, in the middle of nowhere. Not that I ever feel unsafe anywhere, really (but I suppose I should) --- still, I think that an attitude of "I'm crazy AF, maybe crazier than you (person in the bushes), so don't mess w/me, I might bite your face off." Okay, not really, haha, but real recognize real. Lmfao.

We were camping in Canada in a cab over camper, and sometimes my brother would sleep in the cab of the truck instead of the camper. A very curious grizzly started sniffing at the windows, which were open. I guess the bear made a half hearted attempt to get in the camper, too, and my mom shook me awake. “Look! There’s a bear!” And I said, “that’s a bear” and went back to sleep. I have no recollection of any of it, though I am extremely afraid of bears.
