Mad props to ORU man. That's a good baseball team.

I was at this game and it felt like the calls were very inconsistent. Hopefully this is not the end of Oral Roberts they were super fun to watch.

I’ve been impressed with the umpires all year long. Unfortunately, at the college world series they’ve been less than subpar. This is as an LSU fan.

Yeah you can see when #15 goes up with Jacob Widener pitching the ump doesn’t at least look into him not moving out of the way, if anything he moved into it

I know most if these we're tough catches but could a UF outfielder please make a catch!? Also that inside the park home run was ridiculous as well by the outfield. They we're not paying attention on that play.

What a game!

Both teams had chances to blow this open. It was a good game. It has been a real good CWS with the exception of a few Umpires. But they have been consistently bad for all the teams. So far all the games but one has been a one run game.

When things don’t always go your way but you still win It’s freaking awesome Who is supposed to be keeping track of visits to the mound Bet that shit won’t happen again

That strike zone was bigger than a little league strike zone.

I'm being facetious really. He's pulling it in because it probably is not a strike and the catcher is hoping the plate umpire is not paying attention - or something along those lines. Usually a catcher gets away with that because the plate umpire is making his decision on the pitch before it is caught.

Terrible field play by UF Thai game. Shortstop had a real stinker of a game outside of his HR. Super pitching for the first 6 innings and hr’s saved us. Oral Roberts hung in there and just missed a comeback win on that last pitch. Go Gators!

Oral Roberts Coach needs to teach his pitcher how to control himself. Pitcher celebrating like hes hot shit down 2 runs hits the leadoff batter and then throws the ball away at first... then bush league first basemen tries to hold the runner down with his glove without the ball. Learn to play baseball the right way and you might get some better luck at the end of the game.

Unfortunately, those split finger fastballs will shorten your career 100 percent of the time. They just create too much stress on the elbow. As a catcher at a high level, I’ve personally seen that pitch destroy more arms than any other.

At some point it isn't luck, though. Go look at UF's record while also keeping in mind that they play in the best conference in college baseball, by far, with several of their wins coming in the post season. Oh yeah, their team is littered with future MLB players.

I'm an SEC guy....and an older ball player...played in the 80s @ AU...Anyway time for my infamous {OLD MAN RANT... COMMENCING NOW} I CAN NOT STAND THE ARROGANCE AND BADASSERY WANNA-BE, NO CLASS ATTITUDE THAT SPEWS OUT OF THE GATORS with almost every pitch...I thought Tennessee was the Masters of Classless Teams but WOW...Oral Roberts pitcher plunks a Gator and the GATOR player get pissed (vs being pleased) vs running to first and ACT LIKE YOU BEEN THERE BEFORE YOUNG FELLA...I have ZERO PROBLEM being Passionate, being loud, fist pumping and firing up your own team but the antics I've seen from the GATORS every game I've watched them is disgusting IMO and radiates as being CLASSLESS...I have no tolerance for showing the other team up especially the opposing pitcher...doing so is MORONIC...Especially a couple of the GATOR'S big hitters...Hey Gator...if don't want to get plunked then get out of the way...getting plunked with your team winning by 2-3 runs late in the game and you act like an ARSE (OH, obviously the pitcher did that on purpose...cough, cough)...IF DO NOT WANT TO GET HIT..SIMPLE ESPECIALLY WHEN HAPPENED IN THE 7TH OR 8TH...he literally leaned into or stuck his big arse/hip into the path of the ball ensuring he would get hit...he had plenty of time to avoid being hit ...but he was hit and what does he do...What seemingly is the GATOR's M.O....act like pompous, classless ARSES sorta like Tennessee...Anyone who doesn't agree I don't care...but I would ask you to be honest and rewatch as the batter "throws" his hip into the pitch, get's hit then IMMEDIATELY begins to run his m0r0nic mouth all the way to first like he's gonna punch somebody...obviously he fit's the spoiled JOCK stereotype pampered since Park Ball probably. I made my point with that but now this next issue I have is for BOTH TEAMS AND IN FACT ALL TEAMS...STOP SHOW-BOATING...IF YOU ARE WALKED, ESPECIALLY ON 4-5 PITCHES VS 15 YOU DID NOTHING BUT STAND THERE...STOP FLIPPING YOUR BAT...STANDING ON THE PLATE, REMOVING MORE PADDING THAN AN INSIDE LINEBACKER, THEN FLIPPING THE BAT...EITHER DROPPING ALL OF THE MOTORCROSS PADDING, THROWING IT DOWN AND THE WORST PART IS STARING THE PITCHER DOWN AS SLOWLY TROTS TO FIRST...GEEZ GUYS OR SHOULD SAY COACH...C'MON... Back in the day someone pull that crap we would get a sign from our coach to place a few pitches high and tight by that guys ear-hole next time at bat...AND PITCHERS...YOU GUYS GET MY WRATH AS WELL...I love to see athletes being fired up, show passion ...BUT ONCE AGAIN...I'VE SEEN A FEW PITCHERS IN THIS TOURNAMENT ACTING LIKE ARSES...AFTER STRIKING OUT SOMEONE FOR THE 1ST OUT OF THE INNING THEY MOCK THE BATTER ...or after the 3rd out when walking to their dug-out, they turn and give whoever the nasty eye...stare-down...All I could think of besides having zero class was the fact that there was likely a lot of chirping back and forth...In this game, I will assume that did occur ...with the chirping originating with the SEC GATORS... It's good to see ORAL ROBERTS NOT BACK DOWN...EVEN SO, GATORS, FOR EMPHASIS... I LOVE PASSION BUT YOU GUYS HAVE NOT WON ANYTHING YET... Absolutely, the great Mickey Mantle literally looked at the ground when he hit one of his 530 something home runs because he didn’t want to look arrogant, and nobody I’ve seen could hold his jock.
