I don’t know if you still check these or not… but bless you brother!!! I bought a banjo last week. My first instrument… just something about the sound of it speaks to me. Well, I set out on KZread to find some lessons to learn how to play.. I must have watched about 4-5 different peoples beginner video… totally lost me… then…. I stumbled upon you my friend…. And I just feel so connected to you… be blessed through his grace my brother in Christ… thank you for all the effort and work you put into there videos

Thank you so much, my brother, for your wonderful comment. It is so encouraging. Subscribers like you is why I do the videos. I'm sorry I've left everybody hanging but I'm still recovering from 2 strokes I had a little over a year ago. I hope to start up some videos soon but everything in God's time and if it is His will, it will happen. Blessings in Jesus Christ, my brother.

Thank you so much. That encourages me to try to get better fast. I was almost better from the 1st stroke when I had a second stroke that I'm now recovering from. Thank the Lord that they found a blood disorder that doesn't break down clots that might be in my blood. I'm now on blood thinner and recovering fast. It might take another 2 or 3 months but I plan on teaching a whole lot more on how to play the banjo. Please be patient with me and hopefully I will be back soon. Blessings in Christ. Shawn

Thank you for your kind words. Stick with it and you will be playing the banjo soon, I believe. I don't charge for lessons because it is a hobby that I could use to bring glory to our Lord Jesus Christ and be a blessing to people like you. Always doing it in Jesus' name. Blessings in Jesus Christ. Shawn.

Hello my friend thank you for this lesson you are a very good teacher I like the way you broke it down into parts I am looking forward to lesson 3 the only problem was the first part was a little dark with the window behind you but the lessons were fine . You fill me with confidence Thanks again God bless

Thank you, Glenn. That gives me encouragement and I'm glad you are getting something out of the lessons. That is the goal is to go slow with the lessons so you can quickly learn to play your first song on the banjo. I believe that is very important so it keeps you encouraged to keep learning the not so fun lessons. The next lesson should be a whole lot of fun. I apologize for the dark setting at the beginning of the video but after I proof watched the video, I noticed the lesson part was ok. But I will try to do a better set up next time. Thanks again for your encouragement. Blessings in Jesus Christ.❤🪕

I will do a video on finger picks I hope soon. Sorry I couldn't get back with you sooner but I had another stroke that I'm recovering from. As soon as I can, I hope to bring BanjoLogic back to full swing. I've been thinking about doing a video on a banjo I recently had custom made for myself and maybe I can do a video on finger picks since that doesn't require me to play the banjo. Please be patient with me, I plan on being back because I love teaching the banjo. I'm getting good therapy on my arm and hand that should bring me back where I can play. Blessings in Christ. Shawn

Mike, if you want to learn to play the banjo, you can and I will be praying for you to play. So sorry to hear about your daughter but without a doubt, Jesus tells us she is in a much better place because she is with Him. Just always remember, when you start playing, take your time and go slow, learn fast. We pray that this will bring you some joy knowing that she loved bluegrass. Hopefully I will do more instructional videos when I get better. Blessings in Christ.
