Great video of all 3 of the elevators here! VERY happy to see they're all still original! Especially the Lexan since most of the Lexans I filmed there years ago have since been modded according to other users.

This whole hotel represents 3 different decades. 70s 80s and 90s.

Nice elevators the last time I went to Chicago Illinois we went to the nursing home building in Chicago and the Dover elevators were replaced

Hi there!

I love these stuff Andrew but I loved the Dover impulse because it was glass and the Otis lexan was not but loved that motor. It doesn’t matter what they are Andrew because the most important thing is that they are old style stuff which we all know and love

You know, you should go to Minneapolis MN someday and take a rise to the top of the Foshay Towers. if, everything is still the same, you will see a glassed in elevator motor room... I may be wrong on this but bottom drive if I remember! and it is a 1920's....

@@DieselDucy yeah the Lexan is my favorite out of all 3 of them! Lexans are always one of my favorites! I'm not a fan of Dover anymore unless it's Black Button then it's always one of my favorites!
