Didn’t know propagation stations were even a thing! Been wanting to get more little plants for my home. Seems like this would be a great way to go. Thanks for the inspiration!

Both of these propagation stations are so creative! My high school chemistry teacher had a lot of plants in the classroom, so the test tube hanging station reminded me of being in that class. I love how minimal and clean each look though, and you always come up with the craftiest designs. Great video Eunice!

If you want a clean exit (sawing but especially hole-drilling) you've got to either flip it part-way, or drill into a sacrificial chunk of scrap wood. The entry cut is always going to be cleaner than pushing out the other side. Yikes that blowout! A little planning saves a lot of clean-up. Some improvised clamping could've made the standing one's corners aligned and square. Doesn't take a ton of specialized tools, just pause a minute when it starts feeling janky. A couple heavy objects and a factory-square edge (something plastic or glass) to brace against would do the trick if you don't have a carpentry square. And the best advice comes from Adam Savage: if you're doing something for the first time, resign yourself to doing it twice! The second one is always immensely better, and you'll retain your new skills better. Good on you for trying something new! To quote another legendary fabricator: If you haven't made mistakes, you haven't made anything!

haha I felt the same! The only thing motivating me was being halfway in through the process 😂

Can't say I'm quite familiar with woodworking or propagation stations. But thanks for giving us safety advice for prospective viewers making the stations, such as telling us to have a clamp to hold down the board, as you're drilling. Definitely helps out newcomers.

They look so good. How do you change out the water with the 2nd one? do the glasses come out easily?

Thank you! the holes are loose enough that I slowly twist the glasses out sideways. If the wood is properly stained and sealed, you can also glue the glasses intact and pour it altogether ❤️

Wood clamps also press your pieces tightly together when the glue is drying! You andJason should revisit his old the DIY coffee table if you want to do another wood working project :)

I used Titebond wood glue!

in order to not crack the board use electric tape to the surface you are going to cut
