Spring in the North comes unexpectedly, and 2-3 warm days are enough to melt the ice in shallow parts of rivers. On another March day I went to a small river on a moto - dog to set up a winter tent on the bank for overnight stay. The first day was a warm 0 +1 degrees Celsius, but it snowed at night and in the morning the frost dropped to -15 C. At minute 39 of the video there is a mention of the KZread channel @Swedwoods
