Basically, one of the gearbox shafts is extended to drive an "empty" gearboxcasing placed at the rear containg nohting but a diff (with on/off difflock). You go from 2x4 to 4x4 by connecting the propshaft, very simple and yet effective.

I saw a 2cv 4x4 tonight in Morrisons car park Hereford, Never seen one before, clever I thought.

A mate of mine used to trial a 2CV with a supercharger which he designed and built himself..it was still a 2WD

Do you think a real 2cv Sahara would do even better (2 engines) or would its extra weight offset these custom jobs?

Those things are motorized egg cartons with independent suspension. I wouldn't expect anything less.

this is my dad (blue car) and friend(black car) we often go to lang dale quest in a yellow 2cv pick up

Yes the one in Hereford was purple. It was a woman driving it.

They are NOT twin engined Saharas but single engined 4x4 conversions. rear diff clearly visible at 0:33

hello my English is not very good, someone I could say that's what they do have these 2cv wonders that traccino have 4x4, reducing blocking? that machine and bring those horses have fuersa.
