I worked my knowledge and skill into getting the tube amps to together for stereo effects by splitting the effects pedals into 2 parts. Simply by taking my effects and dividing clean sounds to into my cleanest sounding amp. The 2nd amp takes the over drive with the middle scoping sounds. I can create any sounds with the 2 tube amps here at home. Cheers!

This one obviously have the advantage in features with the MIDI, onboard audio interface, IR loader and reverb, but are they that different tonally? Btw, the boost on the BCC Ironheart 60w and 120w is the best onboard boost I've ever heard/tried on an amp. Hopefully this is the exact same circuit.

Chasis looks quite similar to Bluguitar Amp1, price wise these are interesting, it’s good to see different options on amp pedals, considering Amp1 sounds better to me, specially for heavy sounds. Not even talking about these being Class D and Amp1 being tube amps, just considering preamps. I wouldn’t compare it with Victory amps cause those are a bit more expensive. But the price on this one (if this goes for less than $500), the dedicated headphones, DI out and specially MIDI without proprietary adapter makes it a great product for the price. I prefer the sounds from these rather than Tom Quayle’s which is more for jazz players it seems.

Truly, we are living in the golden age of guitar gear. And that Martin Miller guy plays pretty OK... XD ??? Question Phil: When you get a production unit for review, please address WHERE you would put external dirt/drive pedals in a chain on a board with this thing. Pre into this unit or post after this unit, if you only use the clean channel...

@@florisvanlingen Yeah, logically like with "real" amps on their overdriven channels, dirt boxes pre would seem to make sense. But what about if you want to mainly use the clean channel of this unit and basically make it a "pedal platform" kinda thing. Dirt/OD would then logically go POST this unit, yes? So, a decision tree path needs to be made it seems with how you might want to specifically use the unit. Anyway, I am looking forward to hearing Phil put this thing through its paces in both configs. Cheer!

@@redpillpusher let me preface with saying if something sounds good to you that's all that matters. For me I started out with the solid state, modeler frfr route and after I got better I wanted to try what a real tube amp would sound like in comparison whether clean with pedals or tube overdrive. I was blown away at the difference of the sound in my basement and new immediately that a great tube amp and cab can not be duplicated by anything else to get the sound that I truly enjoyed, and sounded more like the songs I loved through out the years and wanted to play along with. That being said I am grateful for all the ways players are able to do that which appeals to them. Each journey is different and I wish you the best with yours : )
