Is there a way of donating without giving a "voluntary" donation to the Just Giving Company? I tried to change the amount of this supposed voluntary donation but it didn't work. Just Giving say they will not be charging you guys yet they are demanding extra money for themselves and if you try to delete or change this amount the donation to you guys doesn't process?

"I have no reason to be fat" - that is the vibe after watching Justin and Francis get after it. Great job mates!

Refreshing to see real Americans and there positive attitudes whilst breaking down the negative stereotypical boundaries towards such a great adventure for such a good cause...i love cycling,

If this is day one, this series is going to be amazing! Maybe get a QR code printed out and taped on your bags so people can scan for the donation page?

So to put all of the "people are amazing" into context, I got back from NYC last week and people are really AMAZING. I had all sorts of ideas how things will be, but I didn't account for the fact, that people are super friendly, it's so easy to get into interactions/conversations with them. They ask from where are you (Poland here btw), why did you came, how was the covid there (LOL), what do you think about the place and they wish you a great time in their city. I'm in LOVE and I already miss NYC. So now, Francis, Justin... have a blast and keep on pushing :) PS. by the end of the journey you two might end as paleontologists :D

Enjoy every day!!! I rode across the U.S. back in 2015 (took me 26 days) Such a rewarding experience. Your in for such a treat. Wish I was out there with you.

Heads up, North Texas and New Mexico are going to be pretty chilly by the time you get there assuming this is being recorded as you go. Bundle up. I feel taking I-10 all the way to California would have been the faster route (and much milder weather) but west Texas does have brutal climbs as you start going up the elevation. So maybe the longer route makes more sense. Just be aware the North Texas, NM and AZ can get snow this time of year. Good luck boys!

Several things: 1) Welcome to Florida! My native state! 2) I'm glad to hear that people have been welcoming and excited to hear about your journey! 3) Don't put Gatorade in your Camelbak. Recipe for mildew. Unless you want to clean everything (including tube from bladder to mouthpiece) everyday. 4) Powerade's taste can only be described by its color. I don't know what flavor y'all drank, but I know it tastes like blue. Also, Gatorade is better. But don't put either in your Camelbak. 5) Other than Texas, Florida will be the state in which you'll spend the most time. I hope people are as welcoming and excited about your journey as Day 1 throughout your trip!

Amazing day 1 guys. Thank u for sharing and ur right, the best part of the challenges and rides I have done over the years has always been the kindness and empathy of other people. It is easy to think that the world is full of rude, selfish and violent people if listen to the news. My experience from getting out and riding is that the opposite is true xx😊

Oh man! SO much fun seeing you guys pedal our local roads! So sorry I missed you out on the road - my gut is that when you avoided the airport in Fort Lauderdale, we must have passed each other. There's a secret little access road to the east of the runways we always use to avoid US1. I think you guys may have gone around the airport to the west. Oh well. Seeing you guys out here, even on video, is just awesome. And we just donated to the cause - thank you both for making a difference and working to change lives for the better!

I having cycled across the US, the thing that makes it is definitely the people. Anywhere you stop you can get into an interesting conversion though I think most people think your mad for trying it!
