@@lovelyday1965 of course, but some people wouldn't realise that it's way overvalued and would end up getting fleeced. I've seen it happen so often where foreigners get tricked into paying way over the odds or buy into some huge legal issue. And, no, having legal or other "professional" advice doesn't always mean you are protected.

Love it - so many positives and the little "secret garden" is wonderful ! I had been reading about the middle of Portugal being more or less "forgotten" but this doesn't look that way - very nice views & atmosphere. Thanks for your video ! I think I could happily live in this home !

Central Portugal is really coming back to life as more and more people and families are moving back. In the past people left to go and study or work overseas or in the big cities. This seems to be changing now as a lot of foreigners and also Portuguese expats are moving here and fixing up old homes.

Very nice place and surroundings. Tasteful renovations, no back breaking projects on the immediate to-do lists. I'd crack open a cold one and replace the black & white kitchen wall tiles with more something traditional, and that's about it

Really nicely done. Except the tiles. Only saying that because Portugal makes beautiful tiles, seems a shame not to incorporate something different.

16:41 No, you can’t take that central column out. It’s supporting the central beam holding the floor up. Not enough room under the beam for a lintel.

Nice property good price

This property would be more expensive if it was in “Beira Baixa”. Yet again it’s so close anyway that people don’t even understand how good value for the money it is on the Guarda district 😊 and summers are not so stinking hot

I miss a bathroom and toilets downstairs. Wich could be made in the small bedroom. I would keep the toilet upstairs and change the old bathroom to the extra sleep room. Also I'd remove the gas installation. And make the small room a bedroom or office room. For me the biggest thing would be the garden size just to small for my dogs

That is a beautiful house! All I'd want though is a toilet on the bottom floor by bedrooms, not sure there's space to do that though.

I don't think so, the agent said that the owner was feeding stray cats in the area.

The vendors must be hoping for a foreign buyer as there's not way a Portuguese local would even look at it, at that price.

Giving the current price at time of filming - with a proviso - would be very helpful 😊🙏

Braganca, Castelo Branco and Guarda are all on red alert for extreme heat, and over half of Portugal is on maximum wildfire alert. Nineteen villages have been badly damaged by the fires, as well as 16,600 acres of land. The A1 between Lisbon and Porto has partly been closed.

Where does the fridge go in that kitchen? There's no place for Fridge. No cabinets either. Super nice finishing, however, the design could have been better.

Its interesting for sure. Worth noting is that in Portugal the price is always an "asking price" and not a "starting from" price, and it can be negotiated. Sellers can put whatever price they like on something, but it will only sell for what someone is willing to pay. Estate agents dont set property prices, its up to the seller to decide what price they want to put on a property.

The bedroom/bathroom arrangement is a no-no! Up the spiral staircase into the living room, through the kitchen, into the bathroom, then in reverse to get back to the bedroom!!

I can see the price now, not too bad.

How much last price ?

Nice but extremely expensive for a place so inaccessible, with only 2 bedrooms and small plot. .

It’s well done but it’s not for me, it feels claustrophobic.

Looked at the listing .....Too expensive for such a small house with so little land, so far away from any sizable town or city, the views are spectacular too bad.
