Backpack shouldn't be painful. Try adjusting where the silks sit on your body when you are in backpack. While you are standing, the silks should not be tight on your armpits. Try to get it below your shoulder blades. When you are upside down, try to have to silks around your hips and not your stomach. Aerial arts gives a bit of a tickle if you are trying new moves or just starting out, but with practice it does get better!

This particular wrap, what we sometimes call "the diaper" is definitely a tight one on the thighs. It's important to remember to really engage the leg and glute, meaning make it super strong when you straighten the knee, and really press down on the fabric with that straight leg as you pull your body up so it slides up the thigh. You want the fabric to end up at the crease where the thigh meets the torso, not on the thigh itself. Once it's there, it's not as tight. But if it's not sliding high enough, it can feel pinchy. It helps to slide up if you're wearing leggings or tights, too.
but what happens if i hit the floor

you should never train alone, go through new moves slowly, and check your height off the ground to make sure you do not hit the floor (which should have a safety mat)
It is soooooo painful on my thighs i can’t handle it, it makes me unable to do the drop

So cool that even Steve "The Hair" Harrington is practicing aerial silks! Make sure you keep your legs really tightly flexed throughout the move. Otherwise, you just need to keep practicing and it won't hurt so much over time. Promise!
