What are the different frequencies of wireless networks?
I’m sure you’ve seen “2G”, “5G”, and maybe even “6G” after wireless network names when you connect to them. These additions to the network name are to identify the frequency of the wireless network.
Higher frequency wireless networks provide faster speeds than 2.4 GHz networks, but their wireless signals do not travel as far from the router. In other words, you need to be physically closer to the router if you want to use the higher frequency networks without any problems.
This makes higher frequency wireless networks ideal for bandwidth-intensive activities like streaming, video conferencing, and online gaming. Any internet activities that don’t require extensive bandwidth are best suited for a 2.4 GHz wireless network. The 2.4 GHz wireless network is also a good option when you need to access the internet and you are far away from your router and out of range of the higher frequency networks.
Conclusion

I just got T-mobile Home internet few weeks ago,, I had no idea what the differences were between the 2.4 and 5 GHz,, The initial set up was on the 2.4 and I had terrible streaming experience on my Roku smart TV., Once I switched to 5 GHz my Streaming has been flawless and everything else is a lot quicker. I live in a 1600 SF house. great Video.

No not at all, can’t wait to see and here your interpretation of this subject, that really isn’t explained, because people who Understand, expect, others to have some sort of grasp of this topic and miss important terms that people need to learn that’s makes for easier Comprehensive.Thanks.

@ratimaat9397 is this a wireless camera? If so, you will want to make sure the camera is close enough to your router that it's receiving a strong WiFi signal. If your camera is far away from your router, it might have connections issues due to a poor WiFi signal.
