O que eu quis dizer foi que NO PALCO eu não me importo se alguém está me olhando com cara feia, cara feliz, eu me importo de entregar um show exatamente igual todos os dias, se a pessoa que está assistindo tá gostando ou não, eu vou fazer oq faço exatamente igual todos os dias pq acho que todo mundo merece assistir o mesmo show. Então minha nota é baseada no quanto a banda conseguiu executar as músicas, tecnicamente se tocamos bem ou não, esse é o ponto. Óbvio que me importo com os fãs e quem me acompanha sabe mto bem disso. Parem de problematizar, eu hein kk

I see your point, but I'll say some things in defense of the non-Portugese speakers, as it concerns how I've been making a living for the last 25 years: "figure it out" and auto-generated translations do a great job, no doubt... as a one time thing. When your Kindle stops working, when you wanna learn a hack in the kitchen, when you wanna cook [insert dish here] the right way. But here, in this video, these are people expressing emotions, points of view, making jokes and puns. Craptions are called that for a reason. These AI craptions are an insult to my profession (as they are to many others). I am absolutely not saying human-generated translations are the result of "artistry" (although it _is_ what I think), but if you take most major KZread channels where people speak their minds, you'll see that not only they have human-generated English subtitles, they have subtitles in over 10, sometimes 20 languages... because they care about how what they say will be interpreted. So, in my opinion, it's not about "getting the gist of it". If you're really interested in what artists (and scholars, and scientists, and journalists, etc) have to say, craptions won't do. 🙂

The hyperbole of my comment was directed more at the unrealistic and selfish expectations that non-native speakers have of bands like Crypta who are busting their asses on these grueling road tours. Other people can say whatever they want, but I'm not going to the a-hole who whines about Estevam's editing or demands more English speaking from the band members. They made like 50 stops in the US in the last two years, so I have zero complaints. Having said all that, I'm going to take a wild stab in the dark and guess that you are also the Maya that Estevam refers to in the video. If so, please accept this humble request for translations of future Crypta vlogs. But only if it's not going to make your life a living hell.🙂

I'm with you 100% on the expectations of non-native speakers,@@philcalvino884 ! I wish it were different but, sadly, you're right. It's a bit disheartening because when the _gringos_ come here, even the old man selling juice on the sidewalk will try his best to accommodate the English-speaking tourist. Estevam won't allow me to work on the subtitles exactly because it would make my life a living hell hahaha! I really wanted to but it's what I say in the heat of the moment. Truth is, it takes fucking forever and on daily vlogs I'd always be a month late. Go check out the Mexico Metal Fest vlogs posted by @falchi.jessica last month, I can vouch for the subtitles on both (as I have translated them). 😉

Hey man, if English speakers like me want to know what you're saying we just have to turn on closed captions and then set it to auto-translate to English. Works pretty well, with no extra work for you lol. Love the behind the scenes tour stuff, thanks for everything!

In the settings on KZread, you can have it auto translate into English subtitles.

Auto-translate to english CC is available on my device settings. It's usually pretty acurate. Or sometimes I just watch, w/out knowing what's being said🤘🏼
