Hey man, I love the content. Just got back into fishing a few years ago, and a few grabbed my first casting combo Any tips or tricks on how best to use it? I'm a bank fisher, mostly fishing rivers. And a "fun" punishment to try out that I can recommend would be fermented herring if you can find it. Also called Surstrøming (spelling may be off, sorry) Keep up the great content and cheers

Both those baitcaster reels seem better than mine, it's a old South Bend Concorde 1 and it's missing a break but I still use it even though I haven't had any fishing luck since I've started fishing again after a long break.

If that googan glass reaction rod is anything like the Expride 7’2 MH Glass, then I know what you mean. It’s one of my most used rods, cause it dominates Chatterbaits and pretty much anything with treble hooks

You need to come to pa and get some red beet eggs. They are so good.

I would really love to get one of those Shimano DC baitcasters but thats only a dream for me sadly😢

With that bait cast reel I bought a cheap one from one of my local bait shops I would recommend getting new bearings and reel grease and oil on it because it helped my reel.

I think outside the box sometimes and I might would have pulled out a buzz bait lol

I'll be honest, I dig the cheap challenges. I even went as far as to buy the cheap stuff just to fit rods that I have bought and I've caught some nice catfish on the cheap stuff. Not all that is cheap sucks.
