I just picked up the whole trout magnet kit to see if maybe I'll actually be able to catch some this fall. These videos have been really helpful in figuring out the best ways to use them!

Man, I really enjoy your comparison & challenge videos! I already had some productive techniques of my own, but I've caught a good handful of trout this season thanks to your channel. Hope you don't mind me borrowing a couple of your ideas for videos of my own 🤙

I've caught small largemouth bass, sunnies and rock bass on Trout Slayers. I like the crayfish better than the split tail grub. A little more action in the water. I also find that if I'm getting short strikes, I can take maybe a quarter inch off the body and re-rig. The claws end up on either side of the hook instead of behind it. Great item. Great video!

Carp for some reason seem to really love that particular crawfish jig🤔 once I found that out, saved me a bunch of money on boilies, bates and feed pellets the brits are so fond of using to feed them 10x over just to get maybe one hookup within a period of a week😂

Wouldn’t a better comparison have been to have the jigs be the same color? Because if one didn’t work would it have been because of the bait or the color? Any reason why you didn’t change up the colors of either bait?

The Trout Slayers work much better with larger black jig heads they come with. It's larger and it gets a better presentation with that size. Also, the black blends more naturally with crawfish than gold or silver does.

Exactly. I don't like the magnet head with the slayer. A ball head is a much better presentation.

1 v 1's always bug me since all presentations are totally situational. I've caught TONS of trout on both of these baits. The magnet has always done better in the open water while the slayer has been better around cut-in's waterfalls.

I trust your judgment and watched your video on the product so you made me a believer. Lol . It's costly here in canada bombers alone 4 pack is 45 $ . Are the slayers as good as it shows in the video ?
