I played from 2002 to 2004. Decided to restart my collection last year when they announced the 25th anniversary legendary box. Got quite a few tins and sets from local players but since I'm only interested in cards up to the chaos control era now I have boxes and boxes of cards that not only I don't use but don't even kno how to use lol

There's alot of original cards that have been reprinted and there's new rarities of og cards you could trade the cards you don't want for. Or maybe look into collecting sealed products that you like. If you wanna play the current format I'd say have someone help at a local shop or try master duel. But not knowing how to do alot of the summons is fine I think just play how you want and just collecting I think is fine. Could always play goat format

The unicorn was niceee and the utopia was whats called a 25th anniversary rare but is similar to the starlight rarity.
