Do not spend $120 to $135 on this set. Just buy whatever singles you need and move on. This is not a 90 dollar set much less a 100 dollar one just for the sake of getting 79 cards printed in 7 different rarities. If you have the expendable funds or that one person who's willing to splurge on you, that's fine.

I personally got 1 box because that's what I do with most sets pull it for fun, but yeah you are right get singles of the things you want if playability is what you care about, but to add, this is the type of set intended to be pulled for fun, 1 pack or 2 as long as it is within your budget can be a fun pulling experience for the additional rarities but also many of these cards are playable even if not meta. So if you want to treat yourself or someone with a experience of pulling sealed this or RC1 is good for as long as you keep in mind the higher upfront cost. especially if you are sharing the experience of pulling sealed with a new player or child learning the game, a handful of staples to add to a starter deck or to be traded can lead to a good casual/new player experience.

For the record I don't think this is a bad set, just a disappointing one due to the much needed cards that were not included and should have been, but 2 sol and luna in a row feels like a slap across the face. Downright insulting.

RC 1 is $130 on TCG RC II is under $120 the value of II is better than I. Even with Baronne and Savage banned. It shouldn't be at $130 the only reason it is is cuz of other needed staples including Ash being included in it.

Bro...there are 79 individual cards in the set...one box is 162 cards. I doubt with duplicates and rarity variations you end up with all 79 cards in a box 🤷

Huh no wonder some of the qcr presale RA2 singles I bought were pretty affordable on ebay. I mean I was able to get a qcr copy of Dragoon for 40$, a qcr playset of Forbidden Lance for 10$ a copy, and a qcr playset of Silent Magician for around 14$ a copy.

I think the Platinum Secret Rares have their border updated in this pack. It has the look of the QCR BUT it doesn't have the 25th Stamp in the text zone. Still got my QCR Bow Goddess

Do all quarter century rares have the little "25th" emblem or whatever you wanna call it on the text box? I saw it on one of his pulls, couldnt really see it on the rest... the poly I pulled didnt have it.... is this a common "misprint'? sorry if my english is bad, I just ripped a dab the size of Wisconsin

The fact that forbidden droplet/talents etc collector rares were pretty much cheaper during the releaseday (multiple copes) - than most 1 of's collector rares here ,1 day before release is pretty disgusting. Means Konami probably messed around with the pull rates or less vendors are buying this set. The price will probably get a bit cheaper tomorrow but not sure by how much and doubt it will be a notable difference.

I was pretty unimpressed with the rates in Australia vs what you guys are pulling. I'm either really unlucky or we got shafted.

Cards you pulled that I didn't get a single one of in the box I bought: XYZ Encore, Pressured Planet Wraitsoth, Crossout Designator, and Anti-Spell Fragrance :( Pretty disappointing considering I really wanted some Designators from this set, and at least one Wraitsoth. Almost as disappointing as not pulling any Dogmatika Punishments or CBTGs in the RA01 box I bought. I did get QCSR Droll, Poly, and Underworld Goddess though, as well as "prismatic" Accesscode, PEP, Ghost Mourner, and Magicians Souls, so I can't be too upset. I'm tempted to buy another box of RA01 & RA02 each, but I should probably just get the few singles I'm missing...

The Platinum Rares are the biggest win from this set. Konami brought back the 2017 Tins Platinum Rares look, and they are gorgeous. It's sad that alot of Blue Eyes cards are reprinted in this set just because Blue Eyes is the next structure deck for OCG 😑. I'm starting to think Konami hates the Red Eyes archetype, which I love 😭😭😭. But I the wins are those Silent cards. It's absolutely bananas that Silent Magician from Rivals of Pharaoh set cost around $25 😑. Like, come on now 😑😑😑

As a Yugi-boomer, I wasn’t used to seeing anything past UR, but now they have Ultimate Rare, Secret Rare, Prismatic Secret Rare, Ghost Rare, and more. The newest thing is Quarter Century Rare for the 25th anniversary
