☠BLACK BARON☠1:19 I get "Airware not responding" ... quite often ... when connected via Apple Airport WLAN when Google Android is booting up on iX RC radios. Anyone else?

Just looked at this Radio at my local hobby shop and I almost had a mild stroke after realizing the price !! $2500 + Tax for a radio ?? That's just crazy to me !!

I think you must have been looking at the one that comes with the 20 ch receiver. Yes it is pricy. If you are flying some park fliers or foam airplanes it will not make sense. I started with the Spektrum DX9 and it served me will until I needed a radio that could handle 14 channels. Upgraded to the DX18 Gen2 approx $600.- on sale as the DX20 was already out. That DX18 served me very well for quite some years. I started to have some issues with the rudder channel, sent it in to Horizon three times. First two they said it was fine and that I should update my receivers. It was not the problem. Well this 8.8m DG-1000 I was now flying and still having issues I came to the conclusion there is no point if flying 12-15k on an old 600.- especially if there are problems. Checked into the iX20 and liked what I read. Talked to a few friends that have it and decided it would be for me too. It cost me at the time about $1,300.- I have only been real happy and glad that I got it ever since I got it. I should get another DX9 or so to fly the less complicated sailplanes I fly just so I save the ware and tear on the iX20.

@@MrLew1965 You are most welcome. The cool thing on these iX series is you can update the radio via WiFi even in the field if you use your cell phone as a hot spot. You can also share setups via bluetooth etc. It might be a little intimidating at first but it grows on you fast. The iX14 has a bit of a smaller screen. Check it out as the text gets small when you have to write in names etc. Wait, I think it was an iX12 that I helped a friend on. The 14's crew is in between the 20 and the 12

Sorry Jared, not sure what hard drive you are referring to. If you are talking about the NAS drive I temporary stored the file is a few TB, if you are talking about the Micro SD card in the radio I thin the smallest I could find was a 16gb. All the files you bring into the radio gets stored on the the radio's own storage, that one I don't know how big is. The air files are not big at all.
