As a addict in recovery I play this song daily. I respect this man and am grateful to him for baring his soul and hurt because this song keeps me from relapsing. NF and his music is part of my recovery. Great reaction.

My daughter sent me this song I think in 2017 I never heard of enough but I've spent 10 years of my life in prison which we have JPay for music but just never heard of him and when she sent that to me I cried probably for a week because it really made me sit down and take a look at all the damage and destruction I have done to my children and to my ex-husband and to my mom and my family my addiction started with pain pills and I'm southern Ohio and we were home of the pill mills when they started when big Pharma said that OxyContin wasn't addicting and the first time I seen this video I probably cried for a month even though I listen to the song 1000 times it just gave us so much more meaning even though I'm still here and I'm very sad that for him that his mom passed from her addiction I missed a lot of monumental things with my kids they were five and 10 when I went for my first 5 years .... 10 And 15 when I got out And then they were 13 and almost 18 when I got out the second time its a very deep song And it doesn't matter what time of the day what kind of mood I'm in if I listen to it or watch the video I cry because I know in my soul even though the drugs held me captive I still chose drugs over my children and my ex-husband my family my life but we continue to work on our relationship 💜 I got out this last time in 2018 I've had a few stumbles went to treatment 💙💙💙but they are now 23 and 28 and my daughter is having my first grandbaby so that's helping build the bond back my God she was five I really want them to tell me how they really feel or how they felt when all this happened twice 10 years total🙄 it changed me I never had any intention of going back the 2nd time I got a halfway house in 2010 and my mom passed in 2012 and I went bat shit crazy didn't think about anybody but myself very selfish and self-centered but today's a new day I'm going to be a grandma and I'll be damned if I let drugs or anything take this opportunity for me to get a little bit of a do whatever with my daughter thank you for this💚💜

You really should take a trip down the journey because what he has essentially been able to achieve is basically being his own therapist throughout the music. He walked up the hills, sometimes crawled as we can all relate because we all have a story, through the most painful, shameful, worst experiences in his life. The power of words. When you speak them out load for others to witness, it losses a big majority of it's power over you. He evolved; Mixtape is something you have to experience! I think you should check out Clouds, Layers and Drifting and then start the Journey to then go back to the rest of the Mixtape after. ❤
