After twenty-some years I retired. Didn't want a party, just outta my way suckers, and ran for my life. Retirement-- best job ever!

Makes me cringe at how much I cared on my first day of work. I worked sooooo much and wasted vacay days to prove myself. Hate that my bosses let me. After being in the corporate world 15 years, I was quick to let the new hires know to take those personal days and leave on time. The job doesn’t care about you, so don’t work for free!

Facts. Although, as an engineer with 5 years under my belt, I can tell you that none of us care about profits beyond how it affects our team's headcount. We all own company stock as part of our compensation, but we can wait out any downturns since none of us make a regular income off of stocks and just treat stock sales like bonuses

Brad’s character (the veteran employee) is the worst type of trainer, because they will throw in company jargon, expecting you to understand what they’re referring to. Also, they will throw out information so fast, it’s better to take a video recording to review later, than to try and write anything down.
