Thank you Tom & Joey!! Great shooting fun with the 22's! My buddy & I do something similar at 50 yards. He has his super accurate Remington 504 & I have my LH Browning T-Bolt. We shoot for lunch. Typically, I end up buying lunch, he is an excellent shot. We take the shooting & safety seriously, but we don't take ourselves too seriously. It is all in great fun. Thanks again & all the best in 2024.

Great video Tom! I am retired and grew up around guns all my life and my father had close friends who were around giants in the gun industry and it formed an impression in my younger years and had stayed with me! 60+ years as a hunter reloader and collector but have found things are more enjoyable when shared with close friends and family just like you have with Joey!

Tom ..about 10 months ago now I decided I wanted to learn everything there is to know about firearms .. from gunsmithing to reloading .. now I have always been a gun guy and worked for tx dept. criminal justice for years and had some state training (which to be honest I learned absolutely nothing from lol ..its embarrassing how bad and how little firearms training corrections officers receive) anyway I was injured at work in 2013 and am disabled now so I have time on my hands... so now I live, eat, breathe firearms ..I spent probably 10 hours a day (broken up of course) researching and learning and putting that knowledge into practice ..reloading,refinishing,building etc .. joined a rifle and pistol club/shooting range ...I drank the Kool-Aid and went down the rabbit hole for sure lol (as I was looking for some way to stay active and busy) ...to be honest the people you tend to find who also have a passion for firearms are some of the most good and honest people you can meet ...anyway where I was going with this is I do not have any family or friends who are into reloading ...watching your videos and learning from you is what got me started ..I had no idea what to buy or how to use the various tools etc ..people often forget to someone who has never even seen reloading dies it can be very confusing .. your videos have helped me so much and just wanted to say thank you and keep up the good work

Yall better stick with the "lets shoot a 8 inch piece of steel at 25yards" club, and then just tell everybody how accurate it was, they do it all the time on YT

This could be a LOT of fun if one actually had a rifle that was zero'd. Fully expected the Ruger to be inaccurate because their triggers are horrible, but not the Remington. Was not expecting that. Most people would zero the rifle before starting the challenge and then use the crosshair bullseye on the challenge target for final 3 shot zero. Would like to see ya do that again. I'm sending this video to Cumberland Outdoors and see if he will take a change. He has 22's that will really shoot accurately. Next time I recommend CCI MiniMags at 1235fps. Very accurate.

It really depends on your rifle. My Marlin loves mini mags, but the pair of US 44s like solid lead federal.

I need to try that. Your camera, paper, or both were moving more than the diameter of a green dot - which is about the size of a squirrel's eye. Not bad to dot a squirrel eye at 50 yards with run of the mill ammo.👍👍🎯 I think the better practice would be to fire your group at the sighter and make any adjustments afterward. I generally sight my 22's in at 50, so I would hope my zero was unchanged.
