@@tarrasage4272 I think they said that it depends on the fox in question. One thing they need to do is react to the command of 'treat' and go to the caretaker or into their den. Some foxes learn that faster than others.

My heart is instantly in love with this fox. She's adorable. I may not be there in person with her but there's just something about her. She has such an intelligent look to her, she's instantly willing to try new things. It'd be so easy for her to just cower in the corner or in the box but she doesn't.

I dont he is jealous, LOL.Luka and Jack are like mates.But Im happy Pan and Sophie got along well.It seemed Sophie can be friends with anyone, she reminds me of Franny only a bit reserve of course Franny grew up with people unlike her.I'm excited to see her progress.I think it wont be long for her to be able to go out in the yard

Since yesterday, I was defeated and ready to give up on doing something I loved because a part of the process was proving to be far too difficult to understand (even with a friend helping me out). Seeing Pan and Sophie getting along and being shown nothing but love and kindness, though, brought a tear to my eye in the way that I needed. I feel like I can get back on my feet today.

Aww Sophie is just the sweetest little fox. And I love how naturally the rescues always seem to take to toys despite having never seen any before. Like it’s so clearly a part of their species to play. Yet another reason why fur farms are horrible. And why it’s so wonderful to see you do this work. Thank you for giving them a better life 🖤

It's so horrible to think of her or any other foxes being made into coats - thank God she is going to have a fabulous life now. I wish all fur farms were illegal and hope one of these days they are.

Sophie is so cute, I love her already! The markings on her face are really pretty, her face reminds me of Firefly’s. I’m so glad Pan has a friend now. I always felt a bit bad for him when he was stuck in his enclosure while Jack, Luka, and Val ran around playing outside together, it reminded me of that meme where Squidward is looking out the window watching Spongebob and Patrick play lmao. I think Felix is also out at the same time as Pan but I doubt Pan wants to chase him up into the tree trying to get him to play. Now he has a sweet little friend who he can share his enclosure with and soon yard time as well (probably very soon if she’s doing that great with treat training)! I can’t wait to see how their friendship develops.

There really is something special about Sophie, isn’t there? I can’t quite put my finger on what it is. She just sparkles like a little jewel. And she’s taking treats from you already! What a doll.

I love all the added interaction pairing them gives each fox. We all quibble with housemates but they basically get along now. It’s part of a natural life :)

I’m getting brother and sister vibes from these two and it’s adorable. I know Mikayla said that Sophie is older than Pan. But whenever Pan gets something new, Sophie is always curious about what it is. Like she’s the youngest and Pan is the oldest.

@A G They can but shouldn't be inside all the time. Foxes can get really destructive. Ideally they need a big outdoor inclosure.

@A G they can live inside, but the rescue requires that you have an outdoor enclosure - because some foxes just don't do well indoors, and they can be messy and destructive!

@@casperkerrivan Exactly. Finnigan is indoors sometimes, but they really do need a big open space to be safe in. I don't think the Apartment dog-park would count in my case, lol (though a nice 20ftX20ft enclosure would be great for these guys)

1:42 -- did anyone else catch all the feels at this description? As a special needs kiddo, I was always a friendless outcast, neither one thing (cat) or another (dog). I'd go into new schools or territories that other kids had claimed, and defended against weirdo newcomers like me. As an autistic adult, I can't be paired with most other autistics without escalating animal aggression. But when left alone, safe and solitary, I'm calm, even graceful. I used to work for an animal sanctuary and they had a permanent residence silver fox named Lena. She was too tame to be released and too wild to be a pet. She wasn't skittish around the volunteer who fed her but she was around anyone else (yet she was really curious about me and other people). I made it a point to stop and sit outside her pen and talk to her since she looked so lonely. She's cock her ears listening to me and when I got up to leave she'd come to the edge of her pen and watch me go? But if I turned around she'd go back to her hutch. We ended up getting some donated chain link fence and posts and built her a huge outside play area and when it was completed, and we cut the hole to give her access, she zoomed out and ran around like a maniac. Jumping and pouncing on things (real or imagined lol). She seemed SO happy. It truly was rewarding work to see a creature take such joy out of the fruits of your labour. They eventually got another (male) and put them together and they now share the play area. You can google her, she lives at Aspen Valley Animal Sanctuary.

Glad to see Sophie's doing well at her new home! Pan seems to be getting along well with her, too! He didn't swipe a treat or toy from her once! You're right, they are really sweet. 💕💕💕

I discovered Finnegan Fox in March and SaveAFox has been my favorite channel ever since. I tell all my friends about the channel to spread the word about SaveAFox and Finnegan and Dakota. Hopefully I will get to visit one day and do a tour or even volunteer.

Any so called industry that exploits, tortures, kidnaps, rapes or murder animals must not be supported. These must be made illegal, ALL OF THEM and summarily ABOLISHED till the end of time.

These Fox are so fun to watch! I love wildlife and I am so happy to see this lady takeing care of these gorgeous fox!

You shouldn't feed wild animals. Feeding them makes them think any human is just going to give them handouts and that's how you get pest animals. Not everyone wants foxes in their yard. Not to be a downer but that's how foxes are killed.

this made me cry. i wish i could take one home. they're all such sweet angels... i wish i could rescue every single one from these awful fur farms. i'm going to try and donate biweekly or monthly. these babies need our help! 🥺
