Just a FYI, I replaced mine and DID NOT have to remove the rubber boot from the end of the cable. There was enough free play that I could slide the cable through the slot.

Question: for purposes of ensuring full clutch engagement, it would be better to position the transition closer to the grip, rather than further from it, correct?

Hi Sir I bought it from Nice Cnc for my Duke 890R because I don’t have quickshifter and after few hours through twisties my left wrist hurts a lot. I have not mounted it yet, but now you told that it releases lazier than the stock arm I think I’m going to try the hole in the middle, first. Maybe its a little bit longer lever anyway and it could soften it enough. Thanks for your video
