In 2013 drove along the 2' Avontuur from Port Elizabeth through the Langkloof and on to Camfer where my late father in law proposed we take the old dirt road Montagu Pass down to George. What an experience to see first hand where the Garrats ruled! I remember we cam up to the bridge where the road passes below the railway line and there was a very narrow road portion with a rock was protruding into the road and was aptly named "Moertjie se Klip." Translating the slightly rude name into English loses it in translation. Ask any of your Afrikaans friends! What a trip!!
