    I had a 1999 Sable LS that I bought in 2003 used. Still my favorite car I've ever had. Unfortunately by 2013 it was falling apart and I had to get a new car, but before then when it was fine, I must say, it is still to this day the most comfortable car that I've ever drove or been in. I personally loved the shape of the car. I used to call it my spaceship because it looked like one and felt like I was floating in the clouds when driving it.

    Love still seeing the Ford Taurus late 90’s early 2000’s on the road as well as those Mercury Sables. These cars used to have some good Heat in it for the Winter.

    Me too. I remember going to the Ford dealership in Oklahoma City in late 1996 when the new ovals came out. I still to this day love the design. I’m working on a Taurus Wagon review, but it’s the newer 2004 model. Has the same doors and side glass, just the angular front end. I also filmed a white 1997 Taurus SHO. That’s a nice car. It has the cloth seats. Most were leather.

    around when i was born, my mother got one of these in light blue (idk what year specifically) and she used it for about 11-12 years, she drove that thing into the ground. watching this brought back alot of memories of that car. forgot how weird it looked inside and outside after not having it for like 10 years.

    My neighbor has one of these in a Dark Red, bought it new in 1999. He only drives it about 3 or 5 times a year, so I’d assume it has less than 15k miles on it. Cool to see one being reviewed

    My mom just got one of these. It's only got 87,000 miles on it. What are some common issues she can look out for? My grandfather has owned it for years and only ever used it to go to the grocery store. It's been sitting around for a little while. But she needed a car and he was willing to give it to her.

    What is the difference with the bold D

  • @NeighborhoodCarReviews

    @NeighborhoodCarReviews

    4 жыл бұрын

    Excellent Question! The Bold D, or (D), is actually Overdrive. So, in the Quadrant of PRND, the D usually keeps the 4th overdrive gear out of the ratio. When you select PRND (D), that allows the transmission to use all available ratios with 4th being the (D) or Overdrive gear.
