Unbelievable again from Rob - superb footage. First time I've seen the Waugh/Gillespie collision(ouch), and the rest really bringing back some memories reading about this series in The Cricketer magazine. Herath must be the last one in this game still playing today.

Wow! I totally missed this series at that time. Wonder how that happened! Vaas-Murali-Herath/Chandana-Zoysa (for a very short time) were actually a more than formidable bowling attack. Looks like Langer and Sanath were having a woeful run of form. Too bad that rain ruined the 2nd and 3rd tests. 2-0 or even 2-1 in the hosts' favour would have done justice to the high quality of game both sides brought into this series.

Imrankniazi Langer, Sanath are average test players. They failed against quality bowling attacks or pitches which assisted Bowling.

Srilanka greatest Test Match Winner was De Silva. Also he's the best batsman in bowler friendly conditions for Sri Lanka

He had to specify bowler friendly conditions coz SL batsmen are flat track bullies in most cases, including Sangakkara and Jayawardene, as proven by the fact that majority of Sangakkara's highest scores against RSA and AUS came after the retirements of the likes of Warne, McGrath, Donald and Pollock.

@robelinda2 Neutral umpires, neutral commentators and neutral pitch curators is the way forward for test cricket. I'd prefer Swiss pitch curators for Ashes fixtures in particular.
