Cummins don't have glow plugs. That's why they are real diesels. A guy at o'reilly auto parts said I should change out my glow plugs and bout reached over the counter and slapped him.

Dude glow plugs are better than grid heaters
That is NOT a two speed rear end. What two speed axle is small enough to be able to retain the stock hub covers? Also the differential would be clearly much larger, which it is not. That is the stock dana 80. Most likely just a gear vendors overdrive. People doing truck videos that clearly know nothing about them is annoying.
The 12-valve Cummins was discontinued in the early months of 1998. Later on in '98 came the introduction of the 5.9L Cummins 24-valve ISB (Interact Systems "B") turbocharged diesel.

I hear you on the starting in 2nd gear. I also have a 98 12 valve quad cab 5sp 354 gears that I start in 2nd unless towing stupid heavy. My 01 RWD 3500 6sp with 410 rear ene is even worse.

2 Speed rear end, not FRONT AND REAR, so how does the 4x4 work? Unless he has a Gear splitter mounted before the transfer case, it is not possible to have 2 low gears in 4wd.

you slap another transfer case on the back of the other one and then you've got more low gears

The automatic didn't carry a different engine. It is well known that more horse power is lost through an automatic gear box than a manual.
