This has to be one of my favorites. My first truck was this generation, '98 K2500 Cheyenne, nice dark green extended cab. Can't go wrong with these old ones!!

I wish my k1500 was as nice

I had a 98 454 dually same color it did a wheelie with 2 pallets of shingles in the back. It was modified to be a wrecker when I got it swapped the hydraulic stinger bumper for a 12 inch drop bumper the 454 was a 72 block built had high compression roller everything and 4 mpg .. that thing would smoke the all 4 every time. Break loose in 5th gear at 80 and then 1 day on my way to roof a house te trailer axle locked up so I had put the shingles in the bed.... it hooked that day ... I romped on it headed up from the down the hill store on hwy 82 by locust grove Oklahoma.... taking off in second , steep, she came up like a scalded horse😂😂😂 i nearly spilled my beer and 3 bundles were never seen since. I kept my foot in it and ran her up to 125 because the traffic was horrible and i seen blue and red... for a few seconds. 5 turns and 30 miles of back roads later we started the roof. Back about the time Joplin got blown away by that tornado....
