Спорт

High quality version: • 1998 Bulls vs Hawks, J...
Jordan's stats: 36 minutes, 37 points on 14-22 shooting, 9-12 free throws, 7 rebounds, 1 Assist, 1 steal.
The Hawks were down by 20 at one point but managed to fight their way back into the game in the 4th quarter. With the game tied, Jordan hit a clutch shot with 13 seconds left and gave the Bulls a 2-point lead. Steve Smith coolly sank a couple of free throws at the other end to tie it back up with 4 seconds left. The ball went back to Jordan on the Bulls' final possession, and he sank a shot at the buzzer to give the Bulls a 2 point victory over the Hawks.

    It's insane that he still had such athleticism and quickness at 35-36. Kobe in 5 years will not look anywhere near this good. Hell, he's already slower than Mike is in this vid.

    @winhawk23 Dont forget is not only offense, Jordan actually won the defensive player of the year in 1988 and led the league in steals at least 2 times. Kobe has never come close to it. It´s not even close, Jordan is the best ever.

    Best parts about this shot: 1) notice how he uses the Hawks double-teamer to screen his own teammate, Smith; and 2) the first guy MJ fist-bumps with right after the shot is Smith haha (shown in different angles in other highlights of this shot)...ultimate respect.

    it's nice to meet you and the 1992 cavs played the bulls really well in the conference finals but i'm not certain why the 1993 cavs and 1997 hawks probably played about subpar and/or average in the semi finals vs the bulls and please read my comment

    Ngayon, pag nakakapag-buzzerbeater ang mga players, akala mo kung sinong magagaling na talaga eh. The Swag and Arrogance always come first to these New-Generation Players unlike Michael Jordan. Jordan rarely praise himself. He Walk the Talk always!

    Unusual to see the score as high as it was. COnsidering both were great Defensive teams in the era that Defense reigned in the NBA (Usually scores in the 990s NBA were under 100 PTS). This is more like a usual triple digit score of the 1980s NBA style.

    Jordan was given a phenomenol athletic body. I mean this performance is just a tribute to how much his body has sustained over periods of time whether it's the the "Big Three" of the Boston Celtics, "The Showtime Lakers" or the Detriot "Bad Boy" Pistons it's just simply unreal. Also though a tribute to how he conditioned his body in the off-season year after year he got better and better every year because he worked more vigorously than anybody else in the off-season. 51 points at the age of 38.

Jordan has been doing that for so very many times, He can't even name His favorite One. He's really the Definition of CLUTCH! And that's what these Post-Jordan Era players should always have. The Will to Win and the Skill to Make it.

    @tutubapo When he retire in 1993, the Bulls retired his #23 jersey. So when he came back, he couldn't wear that number. So he wore his #45 number from baseball. But during the playoffs against the Magic he switched back to #23, but the NBA fined him for it. Eventually, the league stopped fining him.

  • @cooljjjj
    @cooljjjj13 жыл бұрын

    @MIKESOWELL Actually, when MJ came back he could have worn #23, but he chose to wear #45 instead to signal a new beginning. During the playoffs against the Magic, Nick Anderson said "45 isn't as good as 23". MJ got pissed, switched back to #23 and lit the Magic up for 38 points in the next game. The only reason MJ was fined was because he didn't notify the league of his number change.

Well in that case i think it's an obvious travel if he touches the ball initially, but in fact i think he does not touch it and it lets it fall without touching his hand! It's hard to see it but i think it's a good illusion that makes us think he touched it. But perhaps i'm wrong and he touched it, no big matter anyway. :-)

    Yes, watch that video. Phil starts by saying Kobe is a better LONG RANGE shooter, then spends the rest of the interview explaining why Jordan was better. Phil covers the strength, the inside game, the ball-control. In another interview he claims that MJ would average 45ppg under the current NBA rules. Kobe is on Phil's team now, he isn't going to kill him and say he's nothing compared to MJ. He has to keep Kobe happy, but if you actually listen to what he says, Phil knows MJ was better.
