" i wanna see his longevity " present day: still playing at a professional level at almost 70 🐐

It wasn't a dis though. He was just saying to be declared the BEST OF ALL TIME you need to show longevity. Remember this was in 97, only 3 years after Efron's first major title!

@dirtonknees2 and I wasn't taking a shot either? Just saying how funny that is now that he is the best to ever play the game and still competing at a professional level finishing in the top 5 or top 3 in a lot of the tournaments he has been playing in

@konnordexter8437 for sure! Its nuts how great he ultimately became 🙂 One of my best friends got to play him in 9 ball a few times when he came out here to Aurora, IL. My buddy got hot and won 2 games 😁
Any chance you can upload the match that Efren commentated? It is: 1998 SRO Danny Medina vs Nick Varner. Thanks!!!
Those Brunswick tables are beauties
I had no idea that Andy Richter was so good at pool….
I noticed Efren's opponent when he's ahead the other get irritated...it's either complaint, show temper, talk too much...etc. Efren stay cool, collective, focus , & quiet...never affected him at all. That's why he's more respected player. So humble
Thats not Grady Mathews, sounds more like Danny D

Yes, you are correct. Fixed it.
Efren is 1 in a billion
Look at the precision at @1:23:28 The GOAT
It is a shame that it took as long as it did for Jose to get inducted into the Hall Of Fame
Efren is the 🐐
*EFREN WAS PLAYING "BABY FATS"!*
Efren looks so young here...he was 43-ish here.
Efren is the GOAT.
Shannon is super talented to get Efren on 3 like that.
Any Shane VS Efren in the vault ?! I’ll be looking for that 😎 thanks, as always this is amazing

2017 derby City classic Efren vs SVB
Efren is "The Magician" and he has a big luck too. He's my hero at pool. Thanks Accu.
Beautiful shot to end that match!!!
A miscue should NOT be a foul.

It is a foul if any part of shaft except tip contacts cb
@onepocketnovice
Жыл бұрын
@@poolfool31021 I feel like you're implying that a miscue is the action of the tip glancing off of the cue ball and causing the ferrule or shaft to contact the cue ball. That is not what a miscue is. The ferrule and or shaft more often than not do not contact the cueball during or immediately after a miscue. This has been proven.

@@onepocketnovice If you can hear the ding it's a foul, surely a leather tip does not make that sound. Logic and physics.
45:06 ok, tell me how Efren could use the end cushion here as Danny described instead of what Efren did . . .

I am my greatest admirer while I'm playing pool and it does not matter if you take issue with my boasting. My dad stopped paying me to keep his unbroken winning streak against all his children. I let him believe his own fantasy he was always going be better than me in pool. I've never seen anyone on earth better under pressure than the "Magician" (bata) REYES.
Effren reyes sangat bagus
“Again a nice bad stroke” Danny 🤦♂️🤷♂️🤣🤣🤣
EFREN IS THE GREATEST POOL PLAYER OF ALL TIME...8 BALL..9 BALL..ONE POCKET..YOU NAME IT..AND THE BEST OF ALL HE REMAINS HUMBLE..
21:30 wow that’s the first time I’ve watched a match that efren played and got a three foul loss of game. I’ve watched a lot of his matches and have never seen him foul out. Shannon was a great pool player. Very bright good stroke and probably even better one pocket player than 9 ball.
Imagine if Efren had a jumpshot in his arsenal. He would have been untouchable.

Who ended up winning the Parica match?

No tape left guess we'll never know lol
When a guy always gets lucky like Efren and always gets away more than 50% pocketing or countering hiding shots it is actually his ability to recall all positions from the past in his memory the angle the speed …etc to a many it’s magic. Efren revealed that one night to me with his old trainer and cue tip repairman Jack English. That’s why to us looks magic as he practice them precisely.

😂😂😂😂so we must to eat worm to make our eyes clear 😅😅😅
Only in this game i learned that it was Parica who invented the soft break before Corey Deuel and Mika immonen.
That’s why he’s “the magician”. Great shot to end the match!!!
these 2 commentators didn't even talk about on Efren hitting the 9ball to win the race and immediately fanned the camera to the other pool table for another players,what ashame, coz their player lose shannon lose. no importance on efren winning this game?

They slurped him for an hour and thirty minutes but you want more slurping? Geez you efren groupies are a sensitive bunch, there are other great pool players out there also
That "third foul" at 21:21 was not a foul. Watch it in slow motion he clearly made contact with the four ball first. Hell, he even almost pocketed it. 🐐
@PV75445

Watched it in slow-mo, he definitely hit the 7-ball first, then hit the rail, then the 4 and then the 7 again lmao.
Philippinos play well because they play coooooonstantly. 8,9 or 10 hours on the weekends a day, 5,6 or 7 hours on weekdays while working. They play pool religiously

you mean because they practice?
God of pool
Listening to the announcers bicker and banter the entire time frankly takes away from the astounding play of these top players. It almost diminishes the players. Sounds derogatory far too often with some fairly ridiculous "predictions" and arrogant assumptions. Anyway, I enjoyed the match either way. Just wish the announcers wouldn't be so... however they are. Love Efren, always. Never seen Shannon play before, and I was extremely impressed with his game. Thanks for this vintage gem.
My personal opinion, forcing someone to foul out a game is just showing to me, that he can't win legit.
@jlobiafra

That's stupid, the reason they do the three foul strategy is because there isn't an open table to run the balls
Got to Comment on How Long this Guy made the Match Run.. Can't Believe all of the Many Mistakes that Efren Made here Either.. Thanks
21:37 “One of the rare times this mad used bad judgment. There’s hope for us” 😂
That was beautiful - - - I played Efren in 2017; the game was the best three out of five in nine ball. Of course he beat me and I enjoyed it. - - - If you are ever in the Huntsville Alabama area just stop by Steve's Cue and Grill - - - as you walk in you will see a picture of Efren and I on the left just outside the entrance of my cue repair shop - - - I'm there every week, if I'm not in my shop just walk up to the bar and look to your right - - - I am normally setting at the first table having coffee or unsweetened tea - - - if you shoot pool, since I own all the Diamond pool tables in the bar, the table time will be on me!
They have a ref but rack for each other? Nah, I'd pass on such chivalry :) Also, Efren is a beast. I mean, you always know it but then you find a video that you didn't see and "wow, the bad mofo did it again!".
1:23:10 bet nobody could predict that shot
There are only 2 guys that I do not like to watch. Daulton & Sigel!😮😢
That's not a fupa, that's a breaking cushion.
There is hope for us?
I remember the days when if you hid the ball like Shannon is doing, u would have gotten a finger broke.😮😢
@jlobiafra

Reyes let’s perica beat him.
They play well cuz they practice

Efren has definitely never been one of the best balkline players dr bill
Fouling out Efren is a big deal.
Stupid kick on 2 ball from Reyes!
Amang ...
Karma gonna get you Shannon!😮😂
Not Reyes best match, but it is always a pleasure watching "The Magician" even if it is his "B" game
