I think they did on sort-of ‘equal ground’ once at the 1997 Unadilla AMA race. Aside from that: McGrath was on the US des nations team in 1993, and I’m guessing Everts was on team Belgium that year. But McGrath was riding a 250 at that race after being on a 125 outdoors. They met again at the 1996 des nations, but McGrath was on a 250 and Everts a 125. Then in 1998 they raced against each other at the Sheffield Supercross on 250s, but Everts isn’t exactly known for his SX skills
