In the new 125 class, in 75? I think Gary Jones won the first 4 big bike national championships before the now passed away Marty Smith, (or 4 of them). I put Marty's number on my 76 KD125 when I was 12, with electrical tape. :) That was the first of 3 new bikes I bought over the next 6 years making $1.00/hr part time at my Dads little highway side rural store, so I got gas, (.50 cents a gallon) for my bike and electrical tape for free. :) Those were the days. Almost all the neighbor kids had bikes back then in rural USA.
