I've owned one of these MIM Active Jazz Deluxe jobs in Sunburst and Tortise since 2009. It's my go to workhorse. I have two other Fenders, a 68 Jazz American, and a MIM PBass in my collection. Love 'em all, but there will always be a special affinity for Fender in my appreciation for all things bass.

You have the version with the Suhr pickups in it! They sing and are punchier than normal jazz pickups because of the single medium sized poles- the perfect size. They smack. Larger poles dont spank as hard because the string’s energy isn’t focused into that one small point right underneath. Poles any smaller would warble, fart and drop out on large bends. Great pickups. Keep them!
