I love seeing young people, like you, embracing the truth that less is more. I think you and Chance are very lucky to have each other to share the adventure.

I just love his energy, so honest and grounded. The devotion and compassion he has for Chance tells us exactly what his character is. Whoever captures his heart for a relationship will truly be lucky, his devotion and compassion for you can be seen in how he treats his furbaby... What a nice young man... and great Van too! And at one time, didn't they call these vans, turtle vans?

@@sherrie9241 55 and you seem so outside of the box? Where does your heat com come from (gas, electric, generator) How do you cook. (gas, electric or Genny. I meant no offense, but when someone posts a video of living in an RV, I have questions.

This Camper Van is unique, I haven't seen a van with so many built in specific departments like the pull out pantry for dry food, then a place to hang clothes, and the vanity with a mirror. Good luck to JP and Chance on their life journey. Thanks for sharing this video.

I have a 1995 RoadTrek campervan conversion and I love it. It's fun to see a different one, especially one so cool! Your air conditioning set up is awesome. Mine only works on generator or store power, so I may just have to ask the mechanic if there's a way to put that in now🤔 I also have a dog, and a cat too. Beautiful rig ❤️🚙🇨🇦

What an awesome older van with all the great storage, nice little kitchen set up and super comfy looking couches into beds! I absolutely LOVE the multi CD player too! (You & I must be the only ones left on earth who appreciate their CDs & multi playing capability, lol) What a great life you’ve made for you & your pooch, he is obviously well loved and cared for 🐾❤️ Best of luck always on your adventures!

I really really really love your van. I love the set up and how it looks. I have a 1985 econoline 5.8 liter coachman with the turtle shell top that the original owners completely gutted to bare metal walls. The only thing the left was the upper bunk with no mattres. I keep it pushed in and use it for storage. However, I havent been able to find any pics of the original interior when it was built. So I built it out going by other youtube videos so I can camp. I want to live in mine too. I always look for similar vans like mine to try and get ideas of how mine used to look. I think your is by far the best ive come across so far. Thank you so much for sharing.

I traveled and camped over 15 years. My dogs and cats went with me. They loved it. My Siamese cat Cossette, loved the adventure. She walked on a leash, well pretty much she lived life on a leash.

I grew up with several Siamese. All harness trained, so we'd go for walks. I continued the trend with my rescue cats for years.

That guy should have his own KZread channel and film his adventures. That would be nice.

Very nice minimalism. He likes to cook his own food and has his cooking area neatly organized and workable Right on for loving his dog and making him a part of his adventures and the van build. This is one cool smart young man. Wishing him happy safe adventures. Peace!

Nice van, bro! I myself own the longest in the Chevy VAN G30 "Ambulance edition", and also 1995. I plan to make it for travel.

Although I am not a van-lifer, I find it fascinating how creative people can be to arrange the necessities into such small space. In this case, with the insane cost of housing in CA, I can see how van life would help making living actually affordable without being homeless.

IThe more I see older/vintage vans and campers, the more I like those better, what with all their nooks and crannies. Seems the newer models lost something along the way. Super appreciate his devotion to a dog who, by his implication, didn’t have a good start. Very special person.

I lived in a Class C for several years back in the 1980s working as a travel nurse. They definitely built RVs better back in the day. While living in my RV I used my income to buy a house which I rented out. Nearly 40 years later I'm retired in that house. Yes, you can live more economically in a van, but you can also get used to that level of expense/income and not make some investments that are going to benefit you down the road when getting older. I had my Class C for 25 years with minor problems, built so well in the 80s. I got a job and settled down, working 3 12 hour shifts a week and had 4 days a week to be in the Class C. Work some, play some, spend some, save some.

It's so well thought out and planned with all of your tables and extensions and you have just what you need and no more and your bed set up just everything in your van is perfect for me I like the van I like it size it's construction and as a single older woman I would feel very safe and capable in the van like that. You structured your life around chance which is wonderful and being on the road doing what you want. You've obviously met many of your goals and I applaud you. Wow! I have to say for an older van they thought of everything what a great set up and the engine can be worked on, no fancy expensive parts to deal with like the new vehicles have. I would love to find one of these for traveling, even if just to get away for the winter months.

Hay ,JP. Nice Setup, excellent build for a 95’ Dodge Van. I’m starting out on the road got real tired of paying rent. I have a 97’ Dodge caravan, about 6 months on the road living in Van. Live in Long Beach. Parking around 7th St. & Cedar when there’s parking. Saving a lot more money in Van ,slowly getting the Van fixed up. Either looking to converting this Van more or buying something better to live in after saving for awhile longer. I’m retired and on social security. Van life seems to be so much better than renting I’m hooked already! Seeing your Rig was inspiring to me. Just turned 70’ in December kinda healthy for senior work hard all life paid off also went L. B. City college & Graduated @ Cerritos college. Good traveling on the road JP. Say hello to Chance for me.
