Well, that was Daniel “the bull” Amokachi 27 years ago.
Without the consent of his manager, Amokachi went on the pitch and scored two more goals to seal Everton's 4-1 victory in the 1995 English FA semi-finals, prompting Joe Royle to admit to the media just after, that it was the greatest substitution he never made.
