I disagree. I think it's the E46. The E46 was made even more popular by Need For Speed Most Wanted.

The manual transmission was a 5-speed right until the final E36 M3 in 1999. I purchased one new back then.

One of the all-time great BMWs, even if they nerfed the US M3. This M3 has enough power to have fun but not enough to be a handful. New M3s are too stiff and powerful to really enjoy driving every day. It's a shame that BMW has lost its way. Trunk-mounted CD changers, so 90s. I've never had a problem with in-dash CD players skipping. It's crazy that CD changers used to be a big brick in the trunk but not that much later you could get in-dash 6-disc double-DIN changer radios.

I only have an E36 M3 and an E92 M3. Not sure what an E46 M3 is like. But I love the raw, analog feel the E36 has. The E92 doesn't have that experience. It just has the crazy V8 sexy AF exhaust sound.

I’ve got a ‘96 328i and a 97’ 328i, a sedan and a vert. Now I really need Caleb to pay me more so I can get an M3 coupe. 😅

real m3s have itb's but in my opinion the fake u.s. m3 engine is better because it is more torquee and more reliable p.s. all us m3s have 5 speeds no 6 speeds

The original M3’s with ITB’s sat new unsold in the US. Some cars were sitting for a couple years. The lower cost of the 3.0 made the car sellable. If it wasn’t for that M future M’s may have never been sold in the US.

So, this car, late night, windows down high speeds through the woods no radio is perhaps the most enjoyable and attainable experiences I'm graciously able to treat myself with. Very true statement about this car is that u become one w the simplicity of the machine. I've had a few sports cars in my life (newer) and they just didn't capture the feeling as being part of the machine as does the e36. E90 felt too technologically advanced, c5 vette was a bit too suspect and scary and b5 s4 cel was on at all times 😅 are just some of the notable mentions of my past. Sold those to buy a house and leave my parents, bought an m3 at a time $10k got u a clean variant and I don't think I can ever look back despite "some" lack of power but truly makes up when above 5k hanging on the edge of your vaders in high speed cornering. Love how balanced this car is. E46 is also a worthy mentioning. Too bad they now fetch for double the price as they did back around '10. Nice video dude.

It's a gorgeous car and a blast to drive regardless of the less powerful US spec engine! Just a small correction, the US E36 never got the 6 speed gearbox, that was only in the Euro 3.2 Evo model.

I have a euro 3.0 e36 also an e92 m3. Damn the e92 is quick, but the e36 is more fun at sane speeds, makes you earn it and you know where you are in the twistiest!

What seats are those, vaders?

I actually like this gen more than the E46. I find the S58 a bit too raspy, and this S52 is more usable for daily driving.

So I wanted a 2nd gen crv and watched your video. You got me sold. We got a 2005 se very nicely equipped. Runs great c1 owner and very loved by the previous owner. I just watched your video on the element. Now I'm not caring about you. I dislike you. Good thing we live on opposite sides of America. YOU SOLD ME ON THAT TOO!!!! And I found a great one I can't have locally with a manual. So great job. Great videos. Fah-Q

False. My car has both an interior dash CD player and a 6-disc in the trunk. Same CD and it doesn't skip in the dash CD player, but always skips in the trunk player. Have you never used a disc man before?
