1994 Tiger Deluxe Talkboy tape recorder commercial (VHS 60fps)
Ғылым және технология
Originally a prop in the movie Home Alone 2, the Talkboy cassette tape recorder was released in 1992 by Tiger Electronics, but sold poorly because it lacked the voice changing feature shown in the film. The Deluxe version with the speed control was released in April 1993 at a price of US$29.99 and was a massive success, with millions of units sold. In 1995 a pink Talkgirl version was added.
This commercial was recorded in 1994 from WCBS-TV in New York City (via their over-the-air VHF channel 2 signal) and recorded on VHS tape at EP speed with linear mono audio. De-interlaced and converted to 60fps using QTGMC.

I remember this ad! One of my brothers just had to have one, and it's still here today. The last I knew, it still worked fine.
As recommended by Peter McCallister! THE FATHER.
They sold these into the late 90s. There’s a video of myself on my birthday in 1999 using one. I remember it came with a cassette tape with sounds from Home Alone 2.
Credit card? You got it!

They need to bring these back, I had two of them.
Nice capture job! Looks really good for what it is.
Didn't they also have one of these that was a video camera? It was basically a functional camcorder that was designed as a toy for kids. It was like TalkboyCam or something. I can't find it now though anywhere on the Internet. The only proof I have of it existing is my memory. I remember seeing an ad for it when I was a young kid, back in the early 1990s.
I love that commercial.
My dad and I went to goodwill.he checked it over, one of the buttons was working so when I picked it up it up he fixed it.i bought if for 5.00 dollars
Hi kids, we're home early!
Always wanted one when this movie came out lol
the movie itself is 24 fps, because its a standard framerate for filming. however the scene-to-scene transition is 60 fps interlaced.
"Hey, stop drooling on me!" 😂
I always wanted one since the damn movie came out and I never got one :-(
Ah, so that's where that meme came from

Hi can you make a video of all of your camcorders?
I swear that the 90s commercial didn't have those annoying clips of Harry and Kevin in the beginning. What do I know? I was born in 2013
Hey there VW... Hey where's a link to your, "Creepy Dad" upload?

Quality Temporal Gaussian Motion Compensation. It's an improved fork of an older avisynth script (hence the "quality").
