1994 July 8 & 9 - Final days of loco hauled pass
Friday 8th July saw the last weekday workings of regular loco hauled trains in NSW.
Timeless scenes at Redfern of the last week day working of SL50 up Goulburn and the last SL53 down Sydney Goulburn service. I've let the film run a little longer here to soak up the ambience of the CityRail 90s Redfern station.
Saturday morning the 9th of July we see 4403 leading 4468 returning to Sydney with SL50 up morning Goulburn pass into Strathfield followed by a day chasing the final journey of CL27 / 68 as it maes it way from Sydney to Moss Vale and return via the Illawarra line.

Man, it's so good to see a proper loco hauled passenger train with a luggage/guards van.
Amazing video, If only I could time travel back to that era.
