1994 Chrysler Concorde Start Up, Exhaust, and In Depth Tour

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

In this video I give a full in depth tour of the 1994 Chrysler Concorde. Took a while to get her running but I love making these videos, they're exciting haha. Adding to the variety of Saabkyle04! I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this car while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details of it, start it up and see how it sounds under acceleration. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.

These cars (the LH) were some of the best driving vehicles at that time. They had front wheel drive with a north/south engine orientation. I never felt any torque steer in these vehicles. They had both great handling as well as ride.

Brings me back in time. I worked at a Chrysler dealer in the 90's. My favorite of the early LH cars was the Eagle Vision. Assuming everything else is in order with the engine, your startup problem is most likely due to a dirty or faulty IAC (idle air control) motor. I've seen this more times than I can remember...often just a good cleaning with carb cleaner will do the trick (do the throttle body while you're at it). Either that, or you had a dead battery for a long time and the PCM lost its idle settings - if this happens, feather the throttle to keep the engine RPM just barely above stalling. Eventually the computer will figure it out and it will idle again.

IKR? People are so stupid. 90's cars and even 80's cars are so much better than cars from the 2000's to present. I love 90's cars and I despise ANYONE who hates them. It's mostly young people such as millennials who hate on cars of the 80's and 90's. I'm a millennial myself but I'm not your average millennial. I HATE my generation they're a bunch of idiots . I think of myself as a Gen X'er born in the wrong year(I was born in 1991). I know I'm not the only one though.

@@Tbolt1000TForLife This isn't really based on hate, but more based on actual fact. A lot of cars from the mid 70's until about 2006 or 2007 weren't that great when it came to initial quality. They usually did always start up and went, as long as you kept up with basic maintenance. Cars have actually gotten better now though, particularly Korean and most Japanese brands. American and German brands have fallen in recent years though, with the exception of Buick, Lincoln, and Audi. Tesla hasn't been mass producing cars that long, so they can't really count.

@Lukeschedel oh, did I mention I have one of these Transmissions in my 1998 Plymouth Breeze with 212,617 miles on it, and its the Transmission installed BY CHRYSLER when the car WAS BUILT in December of 1997! it has lasted 14 YEARS, and all that has been done to it is Regular Filter and Fluid Changes with LICENSED Chrysler ATF+4! I can PROVE these Transmissions can last YEARS with the Proper Care and Maintenence!

I had a '99. It was actually a good car. What's with the Concordes not having outer antennae? My radio never got reception because the antennae were in the rear window I guess. Even the clear channel couldn't make it through. Other than that, I loved the car.

My guess would be a clogged fuel filter causing sporadic fuel delivery. It is funny, because after Kyle announced the millage, I said to myself - Ah, that is nothing for a good ole American machine... Then it refused to idle, haha! A good service and I reckon she'd be fine.

I remember going on holiday to Canada in '97 (from the UK). We had two rental cars while we were there - a Chrysler LHS for a week as we drove through the Rockies, and a Dodge Intrepid for another few days for Montreal-Quebec. The LHS was fantastic - incredibly roomy and luxurious. The Intrepid was awful - cheap and nasty with an underpowered engine. We owned a '96/97 Saab 900 at the time which put the Intrepid to shame.

I’m buying one from the auction for $300. It has only 30k miles on it. Are these reliable cars ? Should I go there expecting it to not start? I’m hoping it’s gonna fire right up

@jason11582623 from the looks of it, you have a lot of time on your own hands, since you're commenting on more than one of his videos talking about what he's wearing, etc. It's a hobby, and judging by the popularity of his videos, it looks like many people have the same one! hmmm... it even looks like you do too!
