in 1994 i was 8 and my brother was 11, we didnt have much money but my dad came home with a brand new 93yz 80 for my brother, I still remember that day!

I was going with my dad to finally get a new KX80. The dealership had just got in a 93 YZ80 & I changed my mind on looks alone 😂 Loved that bike & this content is so much fun to watch!

Dad got me a 92 Kx80 at the start of 93 loved everything about that bike. Used to go to big boat shows with him in Brisbane Australia, they always had all new MX bikes for that yr, did that every yr throughout the 90's with him

i got a brand new 1999 yz 80 for chrismas when i was 15 i loved that bike and still ride today at 40

I like this channel brings back a lot of memories. Seeing those old magazines ads. Back when it was all 2 strokes in motocross. Go to the nationals and all those 2 strokes go buzzing by on the first lap. All the blue smoke around the starting gate. Bring back 90s Motocross!!

As a kid, I wanted this bike before it was ever designed. I had an 1985 YZ80 and later in 1988❤

When I was a kid circa 1990, I learnt how to ride a bigger bike with clutch & gears. And that bike was my neighbour’s 1987 YZ 80. It wasn’t the fastest 80 on the block, but man 20 of us used to ride that poor thing everyday. It copped a whipping, but thing kept going, most reliable 80 I’ve ever seen.

Fun story Tony, you cover great width of dirtbikes😊👍 My older cousin had a 1985 yz 80 I was scared off, at age 14 I bought a CR 80-81 fun bike, I bought a CR 125 the next year, but I still miss a 80cc bike to play around on. At age 41 with a big CR 500 I still plan on buying an 80 big wheel to fit in my motorboat at the cabin😁 I really like the dark blue 1997 YZ.

this bike was soooo good, i had a 93 cr 80 and my buddys had this. this bikes suspension was just like the big boys compaired to my honda whihc had kid suspension

Miss the 91' kx80 bigwheel

I remember my buddy riding a 01 YZ 80, which was basically identical to this one. I rode the brand new 02 YZ 85 which had a different design and some upgrades if I recall. Could you make a video on 02 YZ 85? And then compare it to modern 85s.
