Much agreed. I remember when I went to the 2006 Champ Car race in Cleveland. I don't remember much but i remember PT won.

f1 Would never be cool enough to race on an airport. I feel so lucky that I grew up at the best time for open wheel racing with the best drivers and tracks

They did in the 60s. And Silverstone was an Airfield before it became a Racetrack

Every racer young and old should watch Emo vs. Nigel fights Thats text book clean racing.
It`s not just this airport that is bumpy as hell, I`ve lived here all my life in Cleveland and all the roads are terrible.It`s not just the rotten weather that chews up the roads.The brand new surfacing is uneven.I think they just have crappy construction companies that can`t lay down a road.

One thing I've noticed is the lack of a running leaderboard during the broadcast, as much as I loved all these races and cart.
Fittipaldi v Mansell is pretty awesome stuff.

Indycar really should have been America’s premier Motorsport and it could have been near the level of Formula 1. The path to success is pretty simple, get top drivers driving cars with top technology . Not sure how they screwed that math so badly.

The USAC/CART split of 1996 happened. It disgusts me as to just how many years of top flight American Open Wheel Racing was lost.
