The intro before this one and the 86-89 Pots and Pans for 90 and 91 was boring and lame, but somehow fit for prime time CBS.

Wherever you get these old games, keep them coming!!! I could watch these all day long!!

The start of my team chi’s battles vs Favre, wished more of them turned out like this (argh!)

Wow! A rare blowout by the Bears over the Packers!! Especially surprising since this was Ditka's last year when the Bears were an awful 5-11. This game signified the last time the Bears had dominance over the Packers.

negative in the second game of 1993 the Bears pick sixed Favre 3 times and won, Bears beat the Packers 35 to 7 in 2007

@@twostop6895 The Bears won a few games here and there but since 1993 the Bears are 13-47 vs Packers. Thats almost an 80% losing percentage.

@@adaonetube at one time the Bears had a huge series lead on the Packers, the Packers even currently have never had the series lead the Bears once had, to be honest its gotten worse since 2016 prior to that the Bears would win every now and then, Lovie swept the Packers a few times but was fired after losing 5 in a row to them

Bears had a nice mini-run against Green Bay in Lovie's first five seasons, going 7-3 against them. Then, Jay Cutler showed up. As for this game, this was the high point of the Bears season. Starting the following week, it was the beginning of the end for the Ditka era.

Favre first start against da Bears. Dikta finished 16-6 in his 11 seasons as Bears HC against the Packers. No one at the time could have predicted the Packers dominance over the Bears for the next 30 years. Sheesh the mustache on Randy Cross tho!

Ditka was actually 15-5. The two teams never got to play in the strike-shortened 1982 season.

Literally my first thought when the camera went into the booth..... "Randy Cross.. and his mustache!!" I wonder if that was the inspiration for Tom Tucker from "family guy"

The last Chicago Bears game I witnessed when my family lived in Illinois. We moved to Georgia on Halloween Day in 1992. A Bears win against the Packers was a good send off, my last game in Illinois.

The thing is that after Favre finally found his feet, the Packers just dominated the Bears going forward and that was it for the Bears dominating the Packers like they did in the 1980's and early 90's.

81-57-6 Bears ( 30-10 Chicago ) Beginning of the slow whittling down of Bears big series lead which would take until 2016 to tie at 94-94-6, by which I mean Favre, wins wouldn’t start until next game.
