And to think Ford ran the wiring like that right up to the modern Trucks. Glad to see the old Ford is getting some love.. those OBS Fords are now quite rare where I live. Still trying to buy back my 91 7.3 4x4 5 speed.

The forums, and KZread has helped me repair my car before. I was trying to find out how to change the purge valve for the vapor canister on my car, and where it was located. Only 1 guy had a video on it. Your video will help someone with the same problem, and save them time.

That was easy to repair the dome lights on a 1992-1997 Model year OBS Ford trucks as they get older in age and definitely very informative video

Very instructive! A thought has occurred to me. With the outrageous cost of trucks today we may be going " Cuba light" in so far as keeping the old iron serviceable. I say light as at least we can get parts... Well mostly. Thanks for a great video

Not necessarily my momma has a 96 Ford f250 super cab long bed hd 2wd it has dome lights when it wants to and the passenger side door switch doesn't hardly ever work

i had a 64 ford ranchero, my brake lights/turn signals were intermittantly not working, well guess what, right where you are working on the wires on ur f350,ford put the brake light harness! and it was chewed up!, i repaired the damage,and cussed the designers!

That is a very dumb design from Ford. At least the GMs from at least the 1970s forward used a plastic channel to protect the wire harness that runs in that same area near the floor. Having the main splice there instead of under the dash is doubly as stupid.
