Who else is watching it today. It is 30 years now. A huge welcome at the Lahore international airport. A huge day for Pakistan cricket. We did not have that many matches back in those days. A pleasure to watch thank you for uploading.

I was 9 days old at that time. Probably bedwetting, having no idea that there is a game called cricket and our team is playing the final in Australia. Today i am in Australia but having all the knowledge that our Captain is doing his best again in Pakistan as a Prime Minister. And I also know that he is in his early stage of game where he is struggling like they struggled in world-cup but i believe ultimately he is going to win. IN SHA ALLAH

I was 10 years old, and in Saudi Arabia. And there was no match telecast. My father turn radio on and we listen, after the game I make call to as all Pakistani relative's and congratulate our victory. I saw the game in tv after 1 month purchase a video cassette and really surprising to watch cricket in color. And after that I saw every day the highlights of final , after came back from school. And always celebrate. Just now I watch the game after 2 decades, still same feeling's and excited.

Prime Minster always was a educated handsome guy. Real patriot who never gived up through hard work and was full energy never say die attuiude

to be fair, they did not deserve the victory, all things being equal they should not have even been there, bowled out for 60 odd against Eng and then rain saved them, defeat would have put them out. Miandad was the plumbest of LBW's when 30/2 (had it been given, they would've probably been skittled for less than 150) Botham was adjuged caught at the wicket when the bat was nowhere near the ball, the cricketing gods (and aldridge/bucknor) were certainly on Pakistan's side thats for sure

30 years ago it was great memories Ramadan days Pakistan reach the semi final with prayers but after that no body can stop them Inzi gem of the inning and rest is history I was 13 at that time and I was in Abu Dhabi and that time no cable tv so there is a Pakistani center part of Pakistani school they had a dish Antenna so we bought the tickets for sf and final IK was confident at Toss he chose to bat we lost two early wickets and then two seniors control the sinking ship mostly people were criticizing and abusing them because of slow run rate and mostly slept but me and like me who knows the stretigy of pak team to save the wickets and acceleration in the last ten or so overs which worked and pak scored 249 runs which were big at that time I didn't go home for sehri I take samosa and juice for fasting and it was paid off by winning the world cup courtesy IK captaincy Javed miandad resistance wasim and inzi superb performances.
